Yes. If this can be done in a pure, decentralized and trustless/secure way... then its a game changer. It could even subverting.
This is blowing my mind. The idea is simple... swap keys to the coins instead of the coin balance themselves. This impacts mining then for sure.
RGB looks really interesting. I need time off work just to go down all the rabbit holes. So fascinating.
This is ridiculously smart if it can be pulled off in a very very secure, trustless manner.
Very clever.
Interesting. Stacker news ran an AMA today about Drivechain and some other bleeding edge ideas. I'm pretty opposed to drivechain but the AMA really challenged some of my ideas, gave me new ones and of course confirmed others.
Bitcoin as a P2P money in a merchant setting just hasn't happened. At all. Bitcoin broke into the collective conscience in 2017-2018 IMO but in the following 6, almost 7 years merchant acceptance is painfully slow to uptake. Not enough has been built. So much attention elsewhere.
I agree with some of what drivechain is trying to do. Build out Bitcoin.
I'm still not for modifying L1 on unproven untested theory. But I agree with some of the ideas here.
Liquid is good but it's a totally custodial trusted peg-in system.
Lightning is cool but has issues too.
Bitcoin needs to be built out at the scaling layer since we kept blocks small. And retail needs to be pitched harder to accept it.
The most troubling psyop/gaslight aspect of the food industry today is the way regular, naturally grown vegetables and fruits are no longer called by their traditional names, like 'Tomatoes' or 'Apples.'
Instead, they're labeled in exotic manners like 'Heirloom' or 'Organic,' while the genetically modified, pesticide heavy, bland varieties have taken over the regular/natural names.
Wouldn't it be more honest/accurate to label these GMO versions as 'GMO Tomatoes' or 'Heavy Pesticide Apples' instead of whitewashing it?
It's a deep form of dystopian-esque "doublespeak" that deserves to be considered.
...
And FWIW... if it's been a while since you've eaten REAL tomatoes and chicken, beef or fish I strongly and highly suggest you do. You can literally taste the difference.
Incredibly relaxing. https://fb.watch/nnrozbp4ad/?mibextid=NnVzG8 I miss working in construction sometimes. Was my summer job for about 15 years. Learned about bridging in this one opposed to just blocking. 🙃
On a surfing trip years ago, one rainy night around the campfire, my friend Ali said he believed the meaning of life was a math equation - but he wasn't sure what it was.
I mean... I'm not saying #Bitcoin is, but I mean... we're getting closer.
Haha.

What is the main advantage of running Obtanium opposed to just downloading the APKs/install files from Github?
Is it basically that obtanium keeps a handy one source record of your apps and pushes update notifications?
Wow! Highly recommend...

This is the best AMA thread I've read in a while. If you're curious to know more about #Drivechain or hear some interesting ideas about the Bitcoin project check this out. Keep your mind open to be challenged. I learned new ideas, had some existing ideas challenged and some others confirmed. ⚡️🤔
Have been listening to Josh Freese lately and wow is he versatile and... accurate. Haha. Although Jimmy Chamberlain is a favourite.
This make me look up what thunderbolt is. And then consider electricity and amps and differnent conduit's capacities to run power and info. I mean tell me fiber optics isn't wild.
And then I literally thought about DC / AC and wondered aloud if electricity was open sourced. Hahaha.
And then this reminded me to fire up my Kawasaki motorcycle so the battery gets a charge before its totally drained.
⚡️🔋 electricity and batteries are so rad.
First I've heard of it. My fast charging USB C type was $3 and I still felt the price was a bit much. Lol. Full charge on a 3amp brick in an hour. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️ Thundercats HOOOOO!
This is more the way than many of the other ways people are saying are the way.
Me, laying on the couch right now 👀 haha
WoT...
Word of truth?
Wallet of 'toshi?
Wasabi over tuna?
Ending my senior secondary school Business classes today with these videos, in this order.
I didn't explain them, their context to the learning... instead just asked reflective questions about the themes and wisdom in each. I didnt alter any of their inferences. Just let them hang in the collective air. Powerful stuff.
