Fantastic to hear. You guys have made something amazing in an impossibly short amount of time.
When you realize it’s one of the few things you can actually, truly own it’s a real lightbulb moment.
Agreed and I don’t think it needs to be some deep dive nerd level knowledge but just understanding how data can be presented would go miles.
#[0] I officially petition you for a mute thread feature. Maybe you’re already working on it but the hell thread is terrible. Other than that thank you for the great work!
I only use wos for Nostr and lnurl/lightning address. I had it all running on my own node via umbrel but after 2 hard crashes I’m evaluating new options.
Poked my head in crypto twitter. They’re panicking over this price drop. They have zero conviction. Does anyone else like cheap sats?
Right and I have no doubt he feels that way but there’s a lot of money behind the whole ecosystem and I have a feeling they may be able to change his opinion. For the record my opinion is it absolutely is a security and also a scourge. There are a couple of other “cryptos” out there that also may not be securities (maybe Litecoin and Monero) but I doubt they’re going to take a very nuanced view of this.
There’s very little outside of Bitcoin that isn’t going to be classified as a security. If there’s a person to go after or a foundation/company they’re going to. They view Bitcoin as a commodity and everything else as a security. Ethereum may be able to lobby its way out of it, but I’m kinda doubting even that. Even if the ETH token its self isn’t, virtually all the other activity on that chain will be.
I agree I can feel it too just didn’t know if there was anything concrete today.
Any recommendations?
I’ve got to get off that thread. Do you have to mute everyone or is there a smarter way?
Another tactic you might find useful is also add the filtered relay on Nostr.wine. It will push your notes to many public relays and fetch notes/profiles from public relays of people you follow. It’s kinda the best of all worlds right now.
Too many and your client is going to use too much resources. I’m finding one public, filtered out of global, and several privates is a good mix.
Gm everyone
Putting this out there again. Does anyone have any good articles/analysis on Schnorr’s impact on multi-input transactions, specifically dust?
The Russians also go to space should we stop doing that too?
Wat dat?

Ah so the relay is saving this. I figured it had to be the relays just wasn’t sure of the mechanism, sounds like on a subscribe from a new client it can grab it.
