I know there is no way to be comforted in a situation like this, even though I wish I knew a way. You are supported though. Let all of your emotions out in volume as they come up. Feeling right now is going to be painful, but it's the only way to process them in a healthy way. Whether you need to scream, cry, be afraid; I support your need to do so.

The 1990's web had some bad pages, occassionally, but it was not "an awful experience" by any means.
With Nostr, your IP address isn't hidden. Nostr is not about privacy. There's no one to ask, because your information is freely available.
You can take measures to prevent this, (VPN, Tor, etc), but those are not Nostr.
Nostr has never been about privacy. In fact, it's about confirmed identity.
