That is beautiful!
Orwell warns that we will be overcome by an externally imposed oppression. But in Huxley’s vision, no Big Brother is required to deprive people of their autonomy, maturity and history. As he saw it, people will come to love their oppression, to adore the technologies that undo their capacities to think.
What Orwell feared were those who would ban books. What Huxley feared was that there would be no reason to ban a book, for there would be no one who wanted to read one. Orwell feared those who would deprive us of information. Huxley feared those who would give us so much that we would be reduced to passivity and egoism. Orwell feared that the truth would be concealed from us. Huxley feared the truth would be drowned in a sea of irrelevance.
Love! This line inspired our studio's illustration: "The inspiration for the illustration comes from the first four lines of his poem, Auguries of Innocence written around 1803. Blake was heavily inspired by symbols and icons, so we used symbols as a nod to his artistic perspective. A swirl of sand and stars emerge from the gap between two hands of a clock. They create the shape of a wildflower, as they curl into an infinity sign.

Love Man's Search for meaning. I would add "The Brothers Karamazov" "The Stranger" and "The Wasteland"
We buy our nieces bitcoin for their birthdays and holidays and the youngest one (11) is now interested in investing her chore money into bitcoin. Our work is done here.
I was in the sauna last night with one other person. A guy walked in and said hello to the other person who asked how he was. He responded "I'm alive and grateful" - I thought that was a great response.
Agree. We're in move fast and break things mode.
I agree! So much potential.
Does anyone know of any internships or opportunities for college students in the bitcoin space?
My son is graduating and headed off to college next year. He is a self-taught programmer (he programmed multiple Roblox games over the years and invested every penny he made into bitcoin - he's a whole coiner at 18!). He is also a math scholar, wrote algorithms for Columbia University's biomed team, and an all-around curious, hard worker. Just thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows where to start the search. Photo of kitten for attention.

Agree. And I had a friend reach out to ask about how to buy "a little bit" - same friend typically glazed over whenever I mention it previously.
I am about 85% bitcoin. I only leave enough fiat in the bank to pay bills and for a small emergency fund.
Just received an "everything is fine, we're fine" email from my local bank
