The point is the NRA has about $235 million in revenue. Bitcoin think tanks and nonprofits/advocacy groups are nowhere near this. In fact, we will need BILLIONS to go on offense lobbying, marketing, etc to combat this government encroachment/erosion of rights and convince Americans why they should care.

The coordinated attack from regulators and law enforcement in the U.S. against #Bitcoin has done nothing to protect Americans, those looking to invest or use Bitcoin, or stop criminal activity.

It's all a taxpayer funded sham that will be brought to light over time.

It’s time to go on mega, mega offense. Time for the people to keep them in line via all the mechanisms outlined in our constitution, for the system of checks and balances across our federal system to actually be adhered to. I think we’re being far too nice about their dereliction of duty and service, and the complete fuckery they’re imposing on our imperfect, but pretty amazing democracy and ideals.

We need a worldwide collective of nonprofit organizations focused on advocating for pro-Bitcoin legislation, defending Bitcoin in court and providing legal support for individuals and companies facing Bitcoin-related legal challenges. Funded by donations.

Anyone and everyone can contribute to donations but we the people currently don’t have a collective of nonprofits to donate to 🤷🏻‍♂️

the samourai/wasabi news has me thinking a lot about privacy but as a court jester and not a builder I’m always left feeling like “what the hell can I even do” to “help” anything 😟 anyway Friday breakfast thoughts good morning.

I tried Muun again. I know… I’m lazy and fine with custodial for small amounts.

The main issue I see is the fees. It seems the more you send, the higher the fees go up. So much so that it’s hard to stomach them.

Why? Why do fees go up so much when you send the 2nd or 3rd time??
