I may have, for the time being, configured zaps to be auto-converted to stablesats. Not because it’s the right thing to do, but because it was really easy with Blink and BTCPay Server.

I agree. Bolt cards and their offshoots are fun party tricks that are easy to implement, but ultimately distract from real UI improvements, such as broadcasting a Bolt11 invoice over NFC.
The first one is definitely a factor, it feels like there are a few interesting conversations happening, but they’re exaggerated, dramatized and blown out of proportion in a race to get the most attention. Everyone doing content is part of this of course, and there are 100x more people providing content than there are people using Bitcoin

In just one hour, I downloaded enuts, deposited some sats, launched my own mint, connected it to enuts, sent some tokens to friends and swapped from the default mint to my own. And already others are using my mint, too!

The last few times I got a prepaid debit card with Bitcoin, I regretted it. Feels like just a bit less than a year ago they were much more reliable and more widely accepted. Actual Bitcoin adoption can’t come fast enough for me.
