It seems like a natural fit. A driver sets up a local relay. His passengers follow his relay. Other drivers join and viola you've created a ride-sharing market.

This seems like a natural app for Nostr.

Driver's establish their own business and keep their own money. No central authority means, no Unions, and it becomes hard for State interference.

Then we just need a strong reputation system

Big nostr growth is going to come from teens, probably. With all the age verification being applied to sites (not just porn), nostr will be the path of least resistance.

there's a lot of money being spent trying to convince people that those downstream effects are much worse than they really are....

if they were philosophically consistent, they would be equally as up in arms about the quantities of glyphosate being dumped onto the worlds food supply.... but oddly enough, the same forces are silent on this...
