Why are building circular #bitcoin economies important?
I'm onboarding some activists to Bitcoin, the most common question is, "how I spend this Bitcoin for real money". For many people scam fiat is "real money". Everyday people need to be able to spend their Bitcoin for it to be useful to them. We have to push more merchant adoption for bitcoin to be truly seen as "real money.

Nostr has the potential to serve human rights activists, political dissidents, survivors, whistleblowers, journalists and everyone else in a way that I always dreamed that Twitter would but never could. My hope is that they find their way here, soon. It’s needed now more than ever. Grateful that HRF is involved. I really appreciate their work.

Users don't want to run their own server to receive offline donations. We need better non custodial Lightning wallets. Looking forward to a world where I can visit a conference in the global south and see everyone using a self custodial wallet!
