My grain run yesterday morning worked out okay with the bed liner on the trailer and it kept the grain nicely contained for the drive home. It was quite easy to empty as well and the still hot grain made its own cloud overhead. I get to skip this morning and will have another load tomorrow morning.
Watched the #PDC🎯 mid day and again MVG won. Someone really needs to slip him some colon blow before the next PL night. Then in the evening watched the Kraken🏒 miraculously win over the Canucks.
Finally we look to get a couple days of sunshine which I have been seriously looking forward too.

Another rainy day yesterday, as seems to be the regular occurrence this year thanks to senor el nino. At least the last teensy tiny bits of snow are about melted from our dark pit the house sits in all winter.
The sheep are super happy now that I have the new bale rolled into their pen. It was not easy as the muddy ground made it near impossible to get footing and traction to push the bale along. I eventually got it into place and got the cage up quickly before the sheep could dive into it.
I had a grain run this morning so got the trailer setup in a bit different way in expectation of having more grain than I did, but it worked out and will be the same for the next couple days' grain runs. The one brewery is expanding into Hillyard and likely needs the supply to get them going.

It was another rainy grain run early yesterday morning. I stopped to drop empties at the first brewery and found a half barrel, then 3 1/2 barrels at the Steam Plant. It was a bit annoying as I would have preferred to have just dumped the partial in to the 4 but I didn't want to to drive back to the brewery so I just took it home and dumped it out in the gardens. The brewery has enough barrels so the one isn't a problem. I was able to spread the grain out amongst 3 gardens which finished covering the 2 and about double covered half the pole garden.
In the afternoon I worked around the yard cleaning up after I got the boys' trampoline setup. Now that the snow has about finished for the year I felt fine putting it up. I make sure to take it down each year to save the trampoline fabric from damage. We have had the thing since 2018 and it is still in pretty good condition considering.

Yesterday morning I was in town for my chiro then my dentist appointments, this year is personal care year for me trying to repair the various damage I have done to myself over the years. I got my new front tooth installed so now I am able to properly say my FFFFs.
The big excitement of the day was when the youngest was trying to unlock his brother's bedroom door with this paper clip. As you can see the thing was not straightened out fully so when he stuck it in the knob to unlock the door it got a bit stuck. He pulled on it but the bent side shot right through his finger, in one side and out the other for a nice piercing. He lost his shit! I got him calmed and the clip slipped right out and we got him calmed more and bandaged up. A couple hours later he was back to his normal self.

Yesterday morning it started to snow and round after round of cells passed over and dropped varying amounts. It looks like it will be the last as the rest of the week will be warmer. I'm perfectly okay with that since the sooner it dries out the sooner I am tilling the gardens.
Man Utd⚽ played in the morning and amazingly won, then we watched most of the NHL🏒 stadium series. Mid day we went to have drinks🍻 at Patsy's and met the resident ex-stray cat Michael Meowers who is super chill and loves being in the bar around all the various people. He plopped down on the seat next to me and got comfy.
I grilled steaks for dinner and we are running low on them so will be having to order a quarter side soon. A half would be cheaper but we don't have the freezer space for that much.

I know it's another chain but on Hive we have https://actifit.io/ which is a step tracking app that then rewards actfit tokens and the posts get Hive rewards. This is the kind of thing to integrate into Nostr or something like it. I would love to get zaps on my steps in actifit.
