Sounds ridiculously banal doesn't it?
But no, it's quite insightful, and you do not have to be a thirsting man crawling in a desert to appreciate a cup of water.
I think that one of the reasons that we do not appreviate something as simple as a cup of pure, cold water, is that we do not take our time to do so.
Instead of just gulping it down, take your time to drink and sense it. Instead of five seconds, try spending fifty seconds on takung it in.
Also, I haven't mentioned before now that I've shaken off my twenty-year addiction to flavored soft drinks. Instead I enjoy a lot of cold, pure water everyday.

The world is trembling from continuing numerousd hostilities and geopolitical tensions.
The real economy is strained like rarely seen (not just expensive eggs), and theres far, far, far too big a gap between the ultra rich and the commoners.
Also, no-one was jailed after 2008. The bankers march on with impunity. Scarcely any lessons were learned.
