In principle, no.

In Iceland? I don't think so. I hear they're trying to reforest the country, but it's basically barren today.

And bitcoin's supply is ~21,000. It just hasn't been issued completely yet.

I agree with everything you said about Saylor (and I make it extensive to elements like Dorsey, Kaiser etc). Bad actors.

I also happen to agree with Saylor that BTC is (perfect) store of value/property and not useful as a currency. It's perfectly compatible (a requirement I would say) with the objective of separating State and money, because money is store of value first and foremost.

Gotta say though, I arrived at that conclusion by myself and before Saylor did, so there's that and I suppose that means I don't really "agree with Saylor".

What's the preferred USD payment method on P2P exchanges like Bisq? I feel that Bisq has a lot more options and offers in EUR than USD, but well.

The way they're doing it: the US will print. There's no way they're letting Japan or anybody else replace the petrodollar, that's the whole point of bailing them out.

At risk of missing the mark since I'm not watching the video right now, Rand was very critical of the label "libertarian" as in "Hayek/Friedman" because she said they had a purely economic theory with no roots on a coherent moral and ethical ideology. Rand's Objectivism on the other hand is a philosophical system from which the rest is derived.

BTC doesn't have inflation. It has a known, predictable, issuance rate for a finite supply.

Another M2 explosion would be excellent news for Bitcoin, since we're short the general economy, the dollar, the banking system, the labor and real estate ponzis and, basically EVERYTHING. Investing in BTC is betting on lots and lots of pain for lots and lots of people. Sorry, not sorry.

I have never understood bitcoiners who refuse to accept this obvious fact, and some who even wish the opposite happens and their BTC becomes worthless.

"When even the US hasn't done anything [against el Salvador], the EU will not do anything [against CH]" is an extremely weak argument.

The socialist block called "the EU" has done, does and will do lots of things against freedom that are unthinkable in the US even today under the Biden regime. For example, what they ALREADY did to Switzerland's former bank secrecy laws and (shell company) corporate regime, under the umbrella of FATF, the UN and whatever necessary means and excuses.

She was literally telling the guy: "It may be you, but it's a different person". I almost blew an artery.

I'm at the veterinarian with my cat and hearing one of the most absurd and kafkaesque conversations ever.

There's this guy who is here with his pet. The desk lady just checked the pet's government-issued chip which contains the animal's info such as vaccination records and so on, and now she is giving the guy grief because apparently he obtained citizenship between the moment he first registered the pet (with his foreigner ID card) and now that he's here (with his newly obtained national ID card).

She is telling him that he has to go through this legal process to verify his former and current id and be able to update the info on the pet's chip. "But don't worry, it's simple".

How about fuck you?

If you're in an artistic line of work. In mine which is a rather commercial/human relations kind of job with deliverables that can't be put on a public portfolio for show, LinkedIn is absolutely vital to keep networks and contacts and to be on the radar of potential employers/business partners.

Do I like it? I fucking despise it. But there's no replacement for it.

That doesn't mean that your statement that eating whole foods doesn't make people fat is true.
