It was a racist, traumatic experience unlike anything she'd ever gone through before. My parents were shook by that place. It was very upsetting to them that my sister lived there.

Where is the state Democratic Party ? What are they doing? Of course...I don't live there and thankfully, I don't work there anymore, but I always had the sense people were waiting to be saved instead of taking the initiative themselves...🙅🏾♀️

Thought some would find this interview of two Haitian New Yorkers interesting. They are talking about how the current situation in Haiti makes it difficult for them to help. And basically they do not support armed intervention.

Crime was happening!! But, DC police did not make arrests of white kids. In one case some kids from Georgetown killed one of their team mates. The police allowed them to handle it as a disciplinary matter. That's how the system works. 2/2
