So I switched off my VPN for regional stuff and swapped for DuckDuckGo in house tracker blocker. Blown away by the top app with tracking hits.

Just spent 20 minutes with my 9 y.o. trying to explain to him how important it is to say sorry to yourself and admit that a poor choice was made.
He has a tendency to blame everyone else and refuse to back down even when you (and he) knows he is wrong.
We started small, based around a decision he made in a board game ( #Munchkin). Instead of blaming another player and trying to invent a rule loophole, he just needed to say to himself, "I did not read that card properly, and I wasted it." Following up with saying to everyone else, "Whoops. I guess I misread that card!" Instead he got angry, blamed us both and rage quit the game. Sad times.
I reminded him how important it is to forgive yourself. No one is going to tease you for admitting you made a mistake. No one is going to be upset if you only realise you made a mistake *after* you lost your temper, but then apologise and admit you made a mistake.
Something he can work on, anyway.

I put Magic For Humans (Netflix) on for my kid and husband and we ended up watching 3 episodes. Husband even put his phone down to watch!
So I have lived in Thailand (Bangkok) for a little over 3 weeks and have worked my chilli tolerance (which was already pretty decent) successfully to "Thai level spiciness" for 5 consecutive meals/snacks in one day with zero repurcussions. So stoked. Bring on the flavours!

Recently, I was looking for a casual mobile #game to kill time during boring #office meetings. 2048 was my earlier go-to. This time I wanted to try something just a tiny bit harder.
Instead of Play Store, I tried f-droid this time. To my surprise, there's an entire games category and, at time time, there are 461 "games". Some of these are real gems. #Unciv is a bit complicated and has a somewhat steep learnijg curve, but perhaps the most popular of the lot. Then, there are sudoku and minesweeper games which require far more concentration than what I can allot during a meeting.
Among the word-puzzle games, there are Wordle games too. Unfortunately my smol brain never quite grasped its objective.
Finally, I tried Lexica. https://f-droid.org/app/com.serwylo.lexica It's a time-bound word finding game that has excellent integration with dictionaries and packs several different languages. It also offers various game modes that offer a little relaxing experience to the player.

I usually look on Fdroid before Playstore! Apple Flinger is a fun Angry Birds rip off. I use Just Boggle mostly.
