Blixt seems to be pretty darn close to having it figured out. I have an LNURL with them now, its an always on LND node on mobile, and I got huge inbound from LNBig.
Only problem is, I think LNBig doesn't have good routes or something. Can't send or receive from several exchanges or payment gateways. So I don't know if it needs better route discovery or I just need a better inbound node. At that point its just a matter of getting the button layout right.
Besides its always on noncustodial to "figure it out" custodial being a norm is a road to pain and failure.
Hey, while I'm here, let's activate a softfork that enables LNsymmetry and vtxo timeout trees like LNHance or APO would enable. Oh Tony. I know you already know. We just gotta educate our fellow node runners. nostr:note1hz4l9jyq4u5jrs23sgxvghlc9lx8ujaqf6wjvj5e4kpvdg5rxmfq62wlq8
You guys already know this. Surely it doesn't need rehashed right?
Except, this is a reply to someone who doesn't get it.
People who are saying "lets not rush things" and "those are just niche programmers" are asleep at the wheel. We need an L1 change to develop L2 any further and we've been discussing CTV for at least a year now (or LNHance which includes two more BIPs) and I anticipate the educational push for it to last maybe 5 years.
We aren't rushing things. If it seems like we're rushing things, its because you're reacting to educational campaigns to bring awareness to node runners and misinterpreting that educational content as a "rush"

"Exodus Bitcoin & Crypto Wallet The only wallet you'll ever need. 50+ networks supported. Swap between 1000s of assets."
Now I grant you, that last one you'll only find in shitcoin wallets, but the point is, my meme is exactly accurate. Is it a bastardization of English to use an oxymoron to describe something (custodial wallet)? Yes, but that's the reality we live in. Companies being deceptive because no one will sue them for deceptive practices.
These companies are gonna keep doing this. They're gonna keep paltering until it starts to cost them money and the only way to cost them money is to sue them, but that's expensive as hell to do tho.

Make this meme not be real!

Its true.
A wallet is transaction signing software
Don't @me with "cloud software" like this is "cloud gaming" or some nonsense. Your "custodial wallet" is a bank. You installed a banking app on your phone.
Well Odell, there's this BIP called "LNHance" which is itself just a combination of CTV + CSFS + IK (internal key its a space saving BIP) and some pretty cool ideas are floating around with it. There's this idea of a multiparty channel that is able to issue timeout trees to casual users.
I could be so bold as to suggest that the multiparty channel could be an LSP (lightning service provider) and have its own wallet. The multiparty channel would serve as an aggregated trustless liquidity pool.
The thing is, we need to build a prototype to demonstrate this functionality. The first problem would be "who the hell is 'we'" who has a repo open asking for developers to contribute towards such a prototype? I'll be honest with you, there's things that I know, but Bitcoin script and codingcollaboratively are not among them.

Did anyone use the heat transfer of a frying pan to transmit a transaction yet?
Would be a nice weekend project: create an air-gapped transaction, build a little device that heats up a frying pan on one end, and once it hits a certain temperature threshold (measured at the other end) you book it as a binary ONE, and if it doesn't hit the threshold in a certain timeframe you book it as a binary ZERO.
The frying pan would literally act as a transmission device, and once the binary string is transmitted through the pan, you broadcast it to the network by whatever means. Bonus points if you broadcast via ham radio, just for the heck of it. And also because you could give it a nice name like "Ham in a Pan" 🥓🍳

Fun fact, this is a post exploitation data exfiltration method for airgapped devices.
Not so much the frying pan, but more CPU and room temperatures.
This guys takes are mixed. Lot of takes I could complain about, but this one is a good one
If you downloaded your app from the app store google is probably selling your data to the government
You know, I'm always more impressed with the URL fuckery than I am upset for falling for rick rolls. I'm almost happy to fall for a rick roll if it means I'm learning something.
In this case, someone uploaded a video to github and this is a direct link to that video
Smh imagine solving captchas instead of just bypassing them
Assuming you're not using n-of-n (3 of 3 for example) if you have a 2 of 4 for example if you lose 2 literally nothing bad happens. You only need 2 keys to sign after all. Just replace what steel and signing devices were lost in a new 2 of 4 wallet.
Just remember to have ALL xpubs at ALL locations.
And memorization bad because people forget plus if you're tortured you can spill the beans on what you don't know. Requiring other people to be contacted on your behalf increases chance of rescue etc. Lots of benefits.

It’s a pure Swift library. We’d like to rally the Nostr Apple platform developer community to use and contribute back so that there’s consistency and reduced interoperability issues across Apple platform clients and build features where everybody gets it for free.
Are you gonna make notessendt from android clients appear in green? XD
