Really happy I didn’t save some of my money in USDC now 😅

He has talked about it on his podcast antihashed.xyz

He wants to send back to everyone, but it’s a lot of work and he’s not completely sure what’s the best way to do it (is my understanding)

it's hard to say how much this will be utilized in the real world.

i can't imagine that a lot of cyberpunks would use it but over time it might find an audience

how does it work?

will the publisher tag their messages with NSFW or something like that?

yeah. so depending on how it's presented, people might start to think of it as verifying their legitimacy.

but I might be overly skeptical. it's probably not that big of an attack surface in reality. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i agree. will be nice to have as an extra feature though! 🤑

it is security by obscurity though.

might not be smart to condition people to expect color to verify people, as an attacker don't have to match the color exactly (just close enough to fool people).

other than that i think it's a good idea

yeah if you get it to work with aws then it should work on any other s3-service

here's one example for a typical config (for https://www.getoutline.com/): https://outline.lhote.me/share/7b403faa-3c72-45b5-8fcd-f6ad72f89b9c

What's required depends on how the s3-service is set up

i would love support for the option to connect to a s3-bucket. it's easy to set up a service, either renting from a provider or hosting yourself.

testing selfhosted s3-server

anyone confused by how nounce hashing works, should take a look at this: https://andersbrownworth.com/blockchain/
