I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this.
I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Going to be a busy day in the loan line today. Loans are piling up in the queue like crazy. Checked in with my manager yesterday & there’s likely an OT opportunity coming up. Love that sweet sweet OT pay.

Got a dentist appt today, just a routine, but it’ll take me away from the loan mine for a minute.
Such beautiful noises outside now. Heard a woodpecker, goose, songbirds, my nutso rooster. Way more noise than a month ago.
