I have come to the conclusion that the way relays currently work is retarded.

Don’t lie. I’m still grieving.

nostr:npub1sweetvyurzytyvqthtk45x5hk4kvvat8t7r35ruc6tgc9ak8av9qrwwjk4 and it JUST hijacked my browser to show me a chatGPT ad

Something must be wrong with you. I’ve never gotten an ad.

nostr:npub1sweetvyurzytyvqthtk45x5hk4kvvat8t7r35ruc6tgc9ak8av9qrwwjk4 I just checked on a fresh install. This is literally the default settings. If it doesn't look like this then either you or your OEM messed with it.

Obviously. Do you leave everything default normally? Every browser is bad if you do that ☠️

You should do like Discord and only let audio play that’s recorded directly through your app so you can analyze it and sell the data to advertisers.

nostr:npub1sweetvyurzytyvqthtk45x5hk4kvvat8t7r35ruc6tgc9ak8av9qrwwjk4 honest question: you really like the constant popups and news shit in your face looking like a manifestation of Indian election coverage? I cannot open edge ever without it hijacking me over to some fucking ad. Yeah yeah I'm sure you can hack out your hosts file to block this but the fact that this is the default is unacceptable.

This has never ever happened to me. You’re being retarded somehow.

Was until you started being a retard.

After like a week, it won't matter anyway. These networks can't be comprehensive or permanent without becoming centralized. It's ultimately going to be ephemeral in the long run.

A bridge was already in the works. I think you can already find Blue Sky profiles on Mastodon (and probably here through Mostr) but Idk what the domain is, and the posts aren't bridging.

Except it's true and cool when we do it.

Do you literally want the media file to be split up into parts? Like Bittorrent integration or something?

That's not going to work. What you want is the ability to store media in a variety of locations, which lots of clients already integrate.

That's specifically in response to invoking Fiatjaf.

I do agree that clients should be more diverse in their media storage, but it's not his issue to solve.
