So my wife was listening and said the balance between the vocal and instruments was off from her perspective. We are going to try running it through a mixer or a DAW for the next one.
It’s too bad- I’d really like for it to work. Promoting music online has in large part become all about the video. I really love how this works and the bitcoin integration and really a lot about it - but something might need to be done about video for this to work for certain content creators.
I think if I want to share video I’ll continue to link from my instagram account until something changes.

I just tried to upload a 3 minute video recorded on my phone to nostr.build and it said the file size is too large.
If this continues to go well I see no reason not to do it as a weekly thing- and I’ll try to get some of my followers from other platforms to cross over to the light.
Also- for those who tuned into the #nostrnest last week- I am going to shoot to do another this week- probably Thursday. The audio quality was definitely sub par last week so we are going to run it a little differently this time and hopefully make it sound better overall. I may not always play with a lineup but I try to bring enough instruments for a whole band whenever possible 😳. I’ll be playing all these slinging original tunes and covers of country, punk and indie songs tomorrow night @goldminesaloon @goldmine6b 7pm. I’m doing a lot of cross platform stuff and trying to see what works. Last night I did a streaming set on #nostrnests that was a lot of fun- planning for another next week. If you aren’t there yet- it feels like MySpace in 2005. Anyway if you’re in the #boise area head up to #idahocity for the show tomorrow night at 7pm. I’ll have CDs for sale - I know I know vinyl is cooler but this two disc set has 35 songs for $20, and I couldn’t have fit that on vinyl.
