Working in nature whenever the weather allows it 🌳 I don't think it helps with productivity but it's totally worth it everytime

what's the largest zap ever sent?

thank you and like wise! πŸ™

that's cause we temporarily updated our LN address to news@npub.cash. nobsbitcoin@geyser.fund doesn't seem to accept any payments currently

We tested zaps on this note… we made six attempts to⚑zap this note, at nobsbitcoin@geyser.fund, over a period of 21 minutes. In each case, we found that your lightning address server did not respond correctly. (The failure point was when we did a GET request to your specified callback URL: https://api.geyser.fund/.well-known/lnurlp/nobsbitcoin ). Your server did not produce an invoice, thus the zap failed. The error we got was "Could not generate a lightning invoice for this project". You might want to look into using a cloud-based Lightning node which is optimized for Nostr zaps, to get your zaps working.

Ideas for passive-agressive CTA's to stimulate V4V donations:

- Have you said thank you once?

- You're gonna feel the influence (of these zaps).

- Dont tell us how we're gonna feel. Just zap it.

- I think its disrespectful to use this content and don't zap.

- You don't have the cards right now. Donate.

Could indeed be one of the key points to incentivize sellers if you can stomach the volatility for longer periods of time

A typical Bitcoin user journey

Replying to Avatar jack

Incentives to spend bitcoin:

- feels like the right thing to do when supporting services/biz/people you love

- you're too short fiat and have no other option

- you put a lot of time in your node/wallet setup and its cool AF

- fuck the banks/KYC

- some privacy and security gains (when you know what you're doing)

Disincentives for spending bitcoin:

- massive opportunity cost

- spend weaker money first

- capital gains on every fart

- privacy and security risks (when you don't you what you're doing)

- limited acceptance

- setup friction/malfunction

As of today, spending bitcoin is for the tiny minority of tech adept early adopters who make a conscious choice to do so for any specific reason(s).

Not spending bitcoin is for everyone else.

This dynamic can change when there are better Bitcoin-only products and services built on exquisite/tailored Bitcoin experiences that scale.

morale is everything

its a dip and you're out of fiat

Hustle culture is so fiat.

Bitcoin is for deep work and meaningful, even if incremental, progress.

Building the Bitcoin economy from the ground up requires Bitcoin being spent. People who are actually doing the hard work will never have as much Bitcoin as they have today as that is programmed into deflationary economics of Bitcoin.

I believe the whole point here is to use Bitcoin in ways that let you FOCUS and enable you to spent MOST TIME on THE MOST IMPORTANT things TODAY.

Future is uncertain. The most valuable resource in life is time. Using it well today may move mountains in the future.

For me, this is the definition of life lived well and time well spent.
