Yes, Bitcoin is great in so many ways and for so many reasons, but it’s just money. You took value from Bitcoin and transferred it into Bitcoin park. In terms of value to your life, you Odell, the returns you might receive from this decision could far exceed anything you could buy with the same bitcoins once they reach “maturity”

Without even talking about what it gives to other and the give it forward effect it can have on others (never visited the park but I can sense the emotions when people talk about it in the nests)

Plenty of things are worth doing regardless of profit. It is nice when you can make something self-sustaining though.

Bitcoin is a tool to have a good time, no reason it has to increase, it can halve with ease every 4 years, as long it's initial halve mass fits the needs sustainable, at the end it should be anyway just one Sat, if u lived a life.

Building the Bitcoin economy from the ground up requires Bitcoin being spent. People who are actually doing the hard work will never have as much Bitcoin as they have today as that is programmed into deflationary economics of Bitcoin.

I believe the whole point here is to use Bitcoin in ways that let you FOCUS and enable you to spent MOST TIME on THE MOST IMPORTANT things TODAY.

Future is uncertain. The most valuable resource in life is time. Using it well today may move mountains in the future.

What are some ways I can help bitcoin park flourish?

My experience is that the bitcoin hardcore people or hodlers or earlycomers are very reluctant to spend ANY amount of bitcoin no matter how much the mainchain fee is. They don't trust lightning and are obsessed with "4-year cycle ATH"

Respect people who think in that way. They are the only person to control their bitcoin with their own keys. But I would like to talk to and socialize with people who are willing to circulate bitcoin, e.g. storing(buying) or spending bitcoin. If a currency won't circulate, it is worth nothing coz no one is accepting it.

Sometimes feel frustrated when my bill splitting suggestion got rejected. "I don't want to spend my bitcoin... Not convenience to know people know my sending address... I don't trust Lightning... Lightning always failed..." But this won't stop me from letting people know the use cases and your human rights that bitcoin gives you. Meetup will still happen.
