We are the Genesis Block of Hong Kong and our Mission is to build a Bitcoin school for students to learn about the history of money and monetary policy, while developing the practical skills around using Bitcoin.
Our program includes hands-on activities that allow students to build their own Bitcoin projects using LNbits and BTCPay Server, run a Bitcoin node on Umbrel, set up both Lightning and on-chain wallets, and learn how to send, receive, and verify Bitcoin transactions.
With the right tools, we envision a micro circular economy growing at our school with the intention of educating students on how to participate in the larger Bitcoin ecosystem.
We have the following initiatives for the coming year:
1. Deliver the My First Bitcoin Diploma Program to 50+ students.
2. Promote Bitcoin usage within our extra-curricular activities program.
3. Use Bitcoin for remittance payments to the Philippines using Pouch.
4. Develop a STEM-focused Bitcoin program.
5. Provide Bitcoin workshops to staff members.

Why can't bitcoiners just hodl or DAC and wait for halving?
The main reason is that halving, in theory, only doubles bitcoin price if the mass adoption stays the same(do nothing). Purely hodling can't realize bitcoin's value. Or even just DAC or buying bitcoin yourself can't make much difference comparing with half trillion total value bitcoin is right now.
Very simple mathematics:
Demand / supply + fiat depreciation = price movement
bitcoin is NEVER deflationary. There is only new supply. And the supply is halved every four years. bitcoin supply is definite. Don't think about supply(halving). Think about demand!
"I am just buying" That's not enough. Try to spend and earn bitcoin at the same time to let more people know bitcoin!¹
My experience is that the bitcoin hardcore people or hodlers or earlycomers are very reluctant to spend ANY amount of bitcoin no matter how much the mainchain fee is. They don't trust lightning and are obsessed with "4-year cycle ATH"
Respect people who think in that way. They are the only person to control their bitcoin with their own keys. But I would like to talk to and socialize with people who are willing to circulate bitcoin, e.g. storing(buying) or spending bitcoin. If a currency won't circulate, it is worth nothing coz no one is accepting it.
Sometimes feel frustrated when my bill splitting suggestion got rejected. "I don't want to spend my bitcoin... Not convenience to know people know my sending address... I don't trust Lightning... Lightning always failed..." But this won't stop me from letting people know the use cases and your human rights that bitcoin gives you. Meetup will still happen.

Some forms of censorship are not intentional that even the platform creator, owner or engineers don't realize. For example, an algo to choose what should appear first on a specific twitter user feed. This can be a censorship technologically that no one can fully understand the impact. In my opinion, less algo means less censorship.
