😆 Gargamel Lover here .

Early European cultures, for example, lived according to the lunar calendar (cycles) instead of the Gregorian solar calendar. The full moon was named after distinctive weather events at a particular time of year - storm or thunder moon, hunter's moon because hunting took place in autumn. It was also named after important seasonal dates in agriculture, e.g. harvest moon. The blood moon simply looks a little red because it is a trick of the light. Every culture has its own names for the moon and its cycles. Living by the lunar calendar feels very natural to me. It's interesting what influence cycles have.

Something similar happened to me with Marina Abramovich, who strolled past me with her entourage at an Art Basel pre-opening party.

The construct of being someone's fan is a bit alien to me. Nevertheless, I have the greatest respect for her art, because it touches me and brings up a lot of personal topics. I was very curious-and in my head : what would we talk about, how would her handshake feel like.

So she walks up to me, smiling.. I thought- oh what an friendly, fear-free person.

Then she said in her tongue-drenched drawled English:

I know …you can take a good picture of us… and handed me her Camera. 20 long seconds passed with an intensive, typical Abramovichy eye to eye -she's very good at that.

I made a few shots.

She was right, they were good.

Marina praised me and left without touching the ground in her ethereal intangibility .

Thinking about it, at least since then I've never had any doubts about becoming a good photographer. Apparently one of the prerequisites for this is being in the right place at the right time.

Well, that’s something I'm quite good at:)

You have founded a beautiful initiative. #Artstr I am curious about the further development.

It is very interesting to have the possibility to define terms and content together. I have learned that some types of art make me curious for more and other contents are too anatomical and too simple in their effect for me :) But I appreciate that a lot of thought has gone into what art can mean and how essential it is in our lives. Thank you!
