Did the experience with friends. Too much conversations a about Btc, Sats, Applications, technical stuff. Right now only Btc or privacy concerned people are using Nostr daily. The new Nostr apps will have to completely remove the protocol complex stuff to concentrate on the user experience to let people use the app as they are using current mainstream apps like Twitter twitter, PayPal, WhatsApp, etc. When I see developping on Nostr I'm 100% confident, that will happen pretty soon! ⚡

I think people are but it needs a mainstream celebrity or other mainstream public figure to endorse it. One of Twitter's old strengths. Storing nsec are going to be an impedance for some so it may even need a Twitter like front-end that entirely hides the underlying infrastructure. But, basically, private key management is going to put some off (erroneously IMHO). But needs celeb/public figure endorsement.

Whichever non controversial public figure is on here first gets close to 100% follows.
