Keychat.io small bug: when people paste the full Key ID (not scan QR) then the 'confirm' button doesn't work on Android, unless that user minimizes their keyboard first (Which is open b/c of the text field input foe that key I'd field)

Uploading ecash through LN not working in nostr:nprofile1qqsth7fr42fyvpjl3rzqclvm7cwves8l8l8lqedgevhlfnamvgyg78spzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejqz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqqdtrej version 1.31.10

Get systematic errors on any amount of invoices.

I gladly test it all, love keychat :)

I want it to work, so my criticism is for helping adoption.

Thx, but it's not working.

I'm on Android and login is not possible with nostr on that site, unless I probably install yest another thing.

But the users I want to invite already gave up as wel

Nostra problem:

When you log in to any nostra service in nipt07:

You need to log in, but on mobile this is not possible:

The amethyst client I use doesn't handle these logins, giving the nsec in such login is too risky and unsecure, and the browser extension to handle this bunker thing is not working in mobile android (and no one of these websites guides you towards a workable login anyway).

So you're stuck as an average user, because as per usual in Bitcoin/nostr , all coders think like coders and think that users jump through 50 hoops with all kinds of plugins and other stuff that usually doesn't work or only works when you install 2 other things.

Making a user jump through 20 hoops to get to a service , diminishes the number of users to the point that every hoop costs you exponentially more users.

In Bitcoin and lightning, nostr they don't seem to get that.

I needed +50 clicks and other actions to do a simple thing that could be done in 3 clicks in telegram

This is not workable.

The screen I get when I find this service (just typing the name gave me some celebrity website) had to take the screenshot in chrome unfortunately, but this is not a page that guides the user in what to do

At this chachi thing.

Maybe make it more clear that there is only private groups in keychat and the rest is up to other services. (UX is not usable in my opinion)

That's cumbersome to use.

I just want to send people a reference so they can put they reference in keychat and join.

So they need keychat and know there's a browser in there and install some plugin inside that browser and then find an invitation and then the group link?

I don't see that working IRL

It's like WorldCoin, but without the shitcoin you could dump right after selling your data. :)

Keychat group.

Trying to build a new group here, if you don't have keychat.io yet, you should get it.

Hello everyone! I want to share my opinion on how much a node or multiple nodes in the #Bitcoin #LightningNetwork can earn for their owners, using the example of my own nodes. I will provide the figures as an annual percentage.

Currently, over approximately five days, the entire network of my nodes earns about 500,000 satoshis per day on average. This is an average parameter. 500,000 satoshis is 0.005 bitcoins.

The liquidity on my side across all nodes is roughly around 300 bitcoins. So, let's simply calculate the annual percentage. You can roughly calculate it like this: 0.005 bitcoin multiplied by 365 days divided by 300 bitcoins. Multiply by 100%, and it comes out to about 0.6% profit from fees, which are currently at 700 ppm + 1 sat base fee.

This formula does not take into account the costs for opening channels, which include on-chain fees for Bitcoin channel opening transactions, nor does it include various expenses related to channel closures, whether automatic or forced, cooperative or forced. We are just taking the net figure as if the same channels were open all year without any expenses. You should also consider the risks associated with annual node maintenance. These include hosting costs, creating backups, labor efforts, and the risks of node hacking, which could theoretically be hacked and have all funds stolen.

Is this a profitable venture? You decide for yourselves. I just wanted to share some useful information with you.

Goodbye!

Thank you.

Looks like something I wouldn't touch seen the risk/work/profit ratio

With all the hardware wallets being promoted, I can only say that you'll probably only need this when you either handle a lot of btc (or other) for or as a business , or you're a shitcoiner that needs to sign a lot of smart contracts all day.

Most bitcoiners don't need such devices imho.

Popes are a shitcoin.

They 'elect' one if them every so many years, and their average age is already in their 70s at time of election, it's more like a subscription at this point.

So ...

The yearly cost of maintaining the Vatican and papacy is approximately $1.25 billion. The average number of popes elected per year over the last 300 years is 0.072 (one pope every ~13.89 years). The cost per Pope’s lifespan, representing the total cost during their average reign, is approximately $17.36 billion (range: $16.21–18.58 billion). This assumes the entire Vatican budget is attributed to each pope’s reign of ~13.89 years.

This is the bear market of Bitcoin communities.
