It isn't even that complicated. All gains in a stocks and shares isa are tax free so no cap gains to pay if you sell your MSTR shares in an isa, regardless of the gain

My wife came up with a potential strategy (UK) for MSTR.

Put spare money into an ISA in MSTR. Any gains under £20k per year are cap gains free. If you get some good gains. Just before the end of the tax year. Take profits and put into a SIPP (personal pension) in MSTR. This would help off set your personal tax owed as pension contribitions are tax efficient. If over the year MSTR has done well (we think so) then you can use the tax free gains to reduce your income tax. If this is allowed then my wife is one clever lady. Someone tell me if this can be done. #cheatcode 🫡

Some words of wisdom for my newly enriched giddy peers.

* Big purchases will flatten the hockey stick, avoid them.

* Do not quit work/earning - your outgoings will increase significantly.

Sounds obvious I know, but over the years we have lost plenty of good/bright people who took BEV for granted.

Stay safe/spend conservatively

I would boil them for 15mins or until just giving, drain. Crush lightly and roast alongside the chicken for the last 30mins in the fat. You can then give them a quick blast while the chicken is roasting. If you want to take to the next level, toss in some chopped rosemary, thyme, sage and garlic 3mins before the end. 😋

I've always thought Stroud would be prime for a local, circular bitcoin community. It's a little bit out there, different and independent, but then I spoke to a few people and they had already been green washed by the guardian, etc. And bitcoin is boiling oceans. But, yes, do agree. Wanting free markets and also caring about and investing / donating to your local community aren't mutually exclusive. I think small, independent and local is defo the best way forward and trying to live that ethos.

My local town Stroud is an absolute melting pot of community. I would say the town has a certain socialist leaning. This has made me think. We should be capitalist with our markets. Ie free market and competition etc. but can we be more socialist with our local communities. Ie not hand outs but being kind, caring and generous with our neighbours. Have I got this right? What do you think?
