No, that's the Nostr "username" field.

I'm anti-ordinal, and I've been around a lot longer than 5 years.

Fees don't need to be significantly higher than the block reward any time soon. Like, not in the next 15-20 years. The infrastructure and L2 systems were fine evolving alongside very slow and steady L1 volume growth. What this sudden and unexpected volume increase has done is artificially propelled usage forward 10 years or so in volume without the corresponding infrastructure maturity. This use case was unintended and unexpected and so is shocking the system.

Fortunately the Bitcoin system is handling the volume just fine, albeit causing much higher fees which themselves are causing second-order effects, some of which are incentivising an increase in development and usage of the existing L2s.

While there is short-term pain, and I believe that Bitcoin L1 is not the place to build NFT analog tech, I believe this will likely be a long-term benefit for the overall system due to it weathering this attack. The inscriptions market will likely eventually collapse due to being priced out of the blockspace market, so I see it as a doomed ecosystem.

When I was in elementary school we didn't get to pick shit... The Band Instructor was always like "we need more bassoon players" or "you look like a percussionist" (?!) and so guess what we got...

I was fortunate enough to get percussion and ended up a Jazz band drummer for a bit.

I just posted using the hashtag, I hope that's the "feed" you're referring to (: Or did you mean reply to this post so that it's here in this thread?

I don't think you need to modify Core to accomplish this. I can give Core a valid transaction directly already which it can then propagate to the P2P network. All you need is a Nostr client that knows how to talk to Core's API.

To get a transaction out of core, you don't broadcast it and just copy it out of Core's console into a Note. This side could probably be mostly automated from the Nostr client as well.

No wife, just varying different relationships.

Yes, and you'll need to ensure that your relay knows to never expire or delete any content created by your key.

Like: I like this note.

Zap: I *value* this note.

These are inherently different things and are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

I feel like since NIP-05 identifiers verify a user's association with an organization (via domain name control), not their identity, Nostr clients should support a user having multiple NIP-05 identifiers, so that a user can show all of the organizations that they are associated with.

Also, instead of displaying a check mark, the organization should be able to define a graphic/badge/etc that gets displayed for their organization when a user has a valid NIP-05 address for their domain configured. This would more accurately represent the association with the organization rather than the check mark which has historically meant something different (identity verification).

I've frequently wanted a delayed/scheduled post feature for social media, especially for when tagging locations. I want to write the post now, but have it send two hours delayed so it's not revealing my location in real-time. This would increase safety for people who havd issues with stalkers, fans, etc.

This is a client feature though, not a protocol feature.

How about it #[4]?
