Nostr is a protocol for the internet and everyone. It's way bigger than "social media". Right now the current network is full of bitcoiners because really they're the ones building decentralized things. Anyone can develop a client that has payments using another currency, btw.
If you want to talk about other things, just do it and you'll find like minded people. ๐ We're all here to build community and a better internet.
I've got to ask, why the negativity toward Bitcoin? Decentralized sensorship resistant payments are required when building a decentralized network, and Bitcoin fits that well.
Just got stuck in a little remote desktop inception. ๐
Yay, I'm once again fully self-custodial for zaps. Using nostr:npub15klkdfx9sh3y096a5jf895rcvkmkzvly2fm9dgxq6huqhp9576jsav4m73 to connect to my node for now. Going to set it up with my own domain later.
The process could have been a bit easier but it's early days. Getting the hex macaroon and TLS info took a bit the first time though. Thankfully I found a voltage video that helped out. I didn't find it at first and was having to learn about hex and where the files were kept in Linux, not a bad thing really.

Now to see what happens in the elections on the 24th.
100% is 100% overused. If you haven't already noticed it, now you'll see it everywhere.
Thankfully no pigeons were harmed in the making of this... Haha. Nice work @herecomesbitcoin.... how are they not on Nostr? Get with it. :P
I'm thinking I kinda like nostR, where the R is hard. Things are differenter here for sure.
Like the Ukraine, right? :P
โ Great set, lighting and mood
โ Amazingly talented musicians and singers
โ Having fun with it
โ Good lyrics
Such an incredible mix of styles in their music, I love it. The little splashes of musical artistry is what makes it so fun.
Looking for a small multi-tool recommendation. I have a Leatherman but they're so dang expensive and this is going in a secondary bag.
Use case is for small A/V gigs where you might need a screwdriver (like to tighten a mic clip screw).
I have a swiss army knife in the bag but I had to tighten one of those Sennheiser clips and the can opener/flathead tool was barely big enough to really torque it down.
I was going to get this Klein driver, but reviews were mixed. https://a.co/d/0fUMC62
I keep a small Gerber Dime in my hiking/SAR pack. It's really compact and has a flathead screwdriver.

This is totally a sign of the times. When corrupt money is the norm. #fiat
