"We don't have the technology anymore" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0HLHGl9h1Y

And these NASA astronauts and engineers all forgot about the Apollo missions?

"We only can fly in earths orbit. That's the farthest we can go ,and this new system we are building is going to allows us to go beyond and hopefully take humans into the solar system to explore, so the Moon, Mars, Asteroids, there's a lot of destinations we could go to..."

“We must SOLVE theses challenges [van allen belt radiation] before we SEND PEOPLE through this region of space”! 3:37

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O5dPsu66Kw

Here an Astronaut claims we can't do it today because all the original materials, molds, plans, etc were destroyed: https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2015/12/11/how-we-lost-the-ability-to-travel-to-the-moon/

statements out of context are not useful in arguing. you're just as bad as the cdc cherry picking data for the vax

Tech has been lost. Not tech that we need to get to the moon, but very expensive stuff. Not good.

As i said above, vanallenbelt damages new microelectronics. As the other commenter said (albeit sarcastically), prior equipmemt was more robust. We need to solve that challenge before sending human thru.

I'm done chatting with you all about this. Just realize that when you deny these things you deny the very theories that make your computer work. Get off of youtube and go touch grass. If you don't / can't understand something, that's okay. don't be angry about it. appreciate that you're a finite human bean in a massive universe.

I'm using umbrel, i can back up when i'm on local wifi, haven't gotten around to it but want to switch to casaos and run zerotier so i can backup from anywhere

Does a selfhosted backup server help here? I think it might

I did when i first started. I'd say i visit ~1x per week

If you turned it into a wikifreedia page it wouldn't be as slick but also less headache

Do what you need to do bros it was a great site 🤜🤛🫂🤝

Folks who stack should treat it as an expense for cash flow purposes. Otherwise you're still in fiat mindset

And the first guy actually worked for it and created. Other dude just destroys

Anyone here do desktop #aquariums that self-sustain? Looking for a lowish maintainence hobby

thinking just snails and shrimp, fish seem too complex

Hmu w/ recs!

Ever wonder how we can see inside your leg? Its not spooky shit, you can build an xray machine at home.

Our current technology is ever more susceptible to these accelerated particles because even a single hit from a particle can upset our ever smaller instruments and electronics,” said David Sibeck, Van Allen Probes mission scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. “As technology advances, it’s actually becoming even more pressing to understand and predict our space environment.”

https://www.nasa.gov/solar-system/studying-the-van-allen-belts-60-years-after-americas-first-spacecraft/

Not true. assuming "They" is the feds / nasa, they haven't lost any data / methods (what you're calling "science"). We basically shot them as fast as possible.

Tiny modern electronics are more succeptible to the ionizing radiation of those VARBs. We continue studying those belts b/c we don't know everything about them.

And before you say the varbs aren't real--the tech you use in your baofeng is based on yhe same theories and models of space.
