I don't know what you believe in, personally,

but I thought I was there before, and ended up realizing I needed to acknowledge God.

There's a certain trope I doubt is going on here but I'll touch on anyway just because. "stay hard" vs open your heart and trust in the plan laid out for you at your birth. :) Stay hard implies there are things constantly trying to attack you or something to that effect, and you must "be ever vigilant." opening ones heart and trusting and having faith, while it may seem diametrically opposite, doesn't mean there aren't challenges that come up that need to be thought through and dealt with, it just means you're not constantly maxing out your neurons, adrenal glands, and available stores of nutrition, in order to cope with life 24/7. I naturally prefer the latter, it's more comfortable for me at least.
