Temptation to create more money has failed 100% of the time when humans have been given the power to do so. So why would that change now? Only bitcoin can’t be changed by any person or group. Everything else requires trust.

Why all your replies are telling people they are bad bitcoiners or that they don’t understand. How about make your case in a clear and reasonable way. I’ll listen with open mind, I promise. But so far what I’ve seen (perhaps missed a post), is no case at all.

I don’t hate them, but I don’t understand why bitcoiners that promote them aren’t embarrassed. Can’t you spend your energy on something productive? Leave the dumb shit to the dumb people.

Can't be a hack of SEC twitter. If hacked it only makes sense to say denied and buy up the huge dip. Saying approved is stupid.

They were drafting this and someone sent it out a day early by mistake.

Thanks! Yes this is what is confusing me. There is a 12 word self-custodial backup with Phoenix. I’m not understanding where the security difference resides between holding on lightning and on-chain if the private keys works the same way. Is the difference just the security of SENDING on-chain vs lightning and not a different in holding? If that’s the case then my kids would just need to be careful moving the funds in the future. Not meant for a very large transfer. To be moved more slowly and in smaller pieces. But tradeoff is the gained privacy.

nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 I watched your Phoenix wallet tutorial. Excellent! I’m planning to set up a wallet for my kids that I’ll give access to when graduating high school. Lightning seems like a more private option than on-chain and I can keep adding small amounts without utxo management.

The initial chunk sent to the wallet will be of significant size to me and on-chain. The 1% fee is high. Is there a better way to get from on-chain to Phoenix? Perhaps on-chain to Muun to Phoenix?

With a significant amount in the Phoenix wallet, is there any security difference between a 12 word lightning wallet and 12 word bitcoin wallet? My intent is these are set aside for a decade with occasional deposits during that time.

With large enough utxo I could also just go the on-chain route for their wallets. I like the idea of being able to gift them something with better privacy however so that’s why I’m looking at lightning.

Would love to know your thoughts if you have time! If not just thanks for the videos. Maybe this is a future topic for you. Setting up wallets for kids that will be secure long into the future and private.

Good people with strong morals don’t have “Christian values”. Christians have good morals because it’s the obvious choice for a fulfilling life.

Only difference is some Christians are doing it for reward or fear of punishment, which is an embarrassment.

Or just busy living your life. I’m lucky I stumbled into bitcoin. Very likely I could have just continued to enjoy my life and family, ignoring bitcoin and assuming it’s a scam.

Blackened salmon in cast iron pan is remarkably easy. I like the farm raised over wild salmon. I’m sure it’s less healthy but so much more moist. Wild dries out very easily.

Great job? I only don’t understand why vegetables might be bad. Like, why would a carnivore avoid a steak salad that’s just lettuce, olive oil, and streak if you crave that? I understand you don’t NEED the lettuce, but is it somehow bad for you?

Sincere question. I don’t have a clue.

Eat variety of whole foods, exercise a variety of ways, sleep, don’t stress, and you’ll be fine.

One of the benefits of bitcoin is not having to think about fiat money evaporating all the time. I don’t want to think about the minutiae of my health all the time either. I just want to live.
