Tudo bem que há um certo sentimento independentista que outras regiões não tem, mas já não me parece uma região tão culturalmente separada do resto do país.

Lightning works great but if the idea is for each person to be able to run their own lightning node and interact with the lightning network in a self custodial way then we run into problems.

Lightning is still limited by layer one bitcoin. Each self custodial lightning user needs at least one on chain transaction to open a channel and any additional opening or closing of a channel will require an on chain transaction. There are a few problems with this. One is that fees are likely to be far higher in the future making this task so costly it may not be worth it for the amount of funds that most people have. The second issue is blockspace limitations. There is not enough room in bitcoin blocks for each person to have and manage their own lightning channels. Even if the base chain was soley used for lightning channel management it would not be possible for billions of people to manage their channels.

I can't answer what the max userbase could be. It seems to me that the way things are currently going lightning will be a communication or compatibility layer between other protocols like ecash mints, ark, fedimints or even exchanges/bitcoin banks.

To address your second point I am not talking about the number of tokens. There could be 1 bitcoin or 1 billion and nothing would be different.

If you want an in depth understanding of these issues I will link a video that explains it well. I disagree with the title that the lightning network has failed. It is just not the solution to self custody for the masses.

It's something that I've trialled many times, but with the help of a mentor, I am designing a new system I am excited about

- Train an AI with all the Bitcoin content I’ve consumed

- Learn about AI in relation to content creation

- Mindset work. Not compare & dispair

- Write a book

- Create first . Consume second.

- Build a publishing machine that uses nostr first, but cross posts to existing platforms as well

- Build a nostr client that actually works for a podcaster

I am spending 30 mins now reviewing them, culling them, indeed what we're calling this is "Dream-Killing"

The intention is to whittle down to THE ONE THING that I have to focus on above all else.

How do you figure out what to work on?

I have something similar although not as organised. But I have about 5 notebooks full of ideas. I don't write them down daily neither review with any consistency. Also my ideas are writen in longer form and with some drawings.

PS. Writing manually makes thing stick in my crazy brain.

Pra imóvel, BTC precisa de contrato de permuta pois se não for assim não da pra lavrar a escritura. Importante entender, que quando o ativo esbarra no legacy, pra reconhecer propriedade, precisa do legacy. Ou você acha que algum otário vai te comprar um imóvel por Bitcoin e não trocar a titularidade do imóvel reconhecida pelo estado? Sem escritura o bitcoin vira seu e o imóvel também.

Pra compras do dia a dia e economias circularea via lightning acho bem tranquilo. Compras relevantes como imovel é o que tu disse, precisa de reconhecimento do legacy. Ou vira legal tender ou criamos um sistema anarquico que pessoas possuam imoveis sem reconhecimento estatal (nao estaremos vivos pra ver isso se um dia vier a acontecer).
