My dad has made a Nostradamus type prediction yesterday.
Elon is setting himself up for a run for potus, in 2028 or 2032, and he'll be a real authoritarian.
It will be interesting to see how the next decade goes in the US.

Technically October, but I'll extend it to today as the rest of the world is still in September, slow pokes.
Spent the morning trying to tame the yard, still lots to do, but it kept me busy.
Thanks to everyone who provided kids words and encouragement over the last month, it has sometimes been tough.

And why we should stop wasting our time trying to convince the masses. We need to focus on our own lives, build alternative systems, build community with the like minded and some will see that and start to come over.
Most people want to feel like they are protected and that someone else is making the hard decisions for them. They can't even lead in their own life.

I love our little town. Took my usual walk out of town and then back, bought some local milk at the local shop, talked to old farmers dropping in for the same. Ducklings swam down the Angus River as I passed. It was a good morning.

Reminds me, I heard an announcer on a edm station talking about "synth pioneers" and all I could think about was pioneers making synths out of natural materials and clearing a dance club out of the woods 😂

After a biggish night of drinking German beer and feeling like I'd done some damage to my knee playing volleyball, I thought I'd be out today.
But, I got up, did my 5km bushwalk and worked in the garden. I rubbed some comfrey salve on my knee and it feels pretty good now.
Wrapped up the day with the family, the sun shining through the new grapevine buds.
