Add the ZS nano but keep it exactly as written. You want the isolation and any additions will add fragility. The entire point of ZS is resilience.

Then make your Mac a full ZeroSentinel Core. So WireGuard (optional), canary, DNS filter, and fall back redundant unbound and chrony.

Using Pi hole instead AdGuard means you will lose some convenience and scalability but they are doing the same function. If you are already comfortable with the UI, managing lists, and have an existing workflow then use it. That matters more than theoretical efficiency.

Sometimes I catch myself doing by thinking how comfy it would be just to have spaghetti with also al olio…

But at the same time my brain reminds me of how addictive gluten is… so I stay strong😅 but I completely understand you 🍝

I used to bake bread… and loved it too… but same thing: Gluten is like a drug 🙃 and many health issues come from Gluten, also gluten from rice and corn…

Gladly I’ve never had any health issues with all of that…but still by eating raw I’m experiencing more energetic.

And yes, add fruits as much as you want! Fruits are so important also to clean our lymphatic system!!! Which is our wastewater system :) and so our blood stays clean and fluid.

IMOP it’s the easiest way to add raw foods by eating lots of fruits and using sprouts in every meal. They are THE superfoods, next to wild herbs 🌿

Thank you 💜 I know...raw food cuisine is completely different and requires much more planning and preparation time. And your palate has to get used to it. Cooked food is addictive, and so is gluten (Pasta,Pizza...)

But I like using Italian herbs in my crackers, for example... It takes a bit more creativity...I even make raw pizza...it's not the same obviously...but much more satisfying at the end.

From April until recently, I ate cooked potatoes almost every day, as well as chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and even, lately, vegetable curry with tofu. Next to salat and sporits and a ton of fruits...

But I noticed that I felt sluggish and not really satisfied. Now I'm back to a stricter raw food diet, and it's just so incredibly good for me. I have so much more energy, and the food keeps me full much longer without any fatigue afterward.

Maybe you'll give it a try one day? I'm happy to keep inspiring 🙏

I haven't been creative in the kitchen for quite some time... somehow I always raw-cooked the same things with different ingredients... To others it may have looked very creative and varied... but to me it was somehow very monotonous and a bit listless. Even if the food was/is always nutritious, fresh and colorful.

Yesterday I finally worked creatively again. Let me share here with you a few shots from yesterday...

The first is a creation from the surplus of the breading mix for the raw vegan vishsticks. I made also raw cashew mozzarella and its placed on the lettuce leaf. Everything is garnished with sprouts.

The salad is salad as always with lots of vegetables and an aceto balsamic dressing, plus the raw vegan vishsticks made from almonds, celery, onions, dill etc. and in the evening there was raw vegan olive focaccia with cashew mozzarella and sprouts.

I have to say, everything was soooo delicious 😍

Would you eat it? I have the feeling that this could be a gourmet 5 star meal...😉

Tomorrow I’m starting the build guide for something I’m calling ZeroSentinel.

What ZeroSentinel does:

- Turns a $15 Raspberry Pi Zero into a fully autonomous privacy node

- Builds a locked, authenticated WireGuard tunnel home from anywhere

- Runs your DNS through your own Unbound resolver with DNSSEC enforcement

- Blocks ISP meddling, hotel rewrites, captive portal tricks, and upstream manipulation

- Monitors its own health every few minutes

- Sends you an encrypted Nostr DM when anything breaks

- Enforces no-fallback DNS and drops all traffic that isn’t in the tunnel

- Works behind travel routers, double NAT, carrier-grade NAT, and hostile networks

- Makes your phone’s “VPN” actually mean something

Your own infrastructure. Quiet. Cheap. No subscriptions. No external services.

I've been doing some research on the biggest mistakes we Bitcoiners made as a community — and obviously we got very complacent over time.

Instead of listening to podcast hopium and alienating people with "have fun staying poor" narratives, we should've focused on game theory and patched up at least some of the holes.

It was always inevitable that Bitcoin was going to get attacked, and things like having close to 100% of nodes run on a single implementation was just silly in hindsight.

People are doing more harm than good when posting charts of hashrate going vertical without the context that 2 pools (Foundry and Antpool) are close to 50% of hashrate and for more than 98% of cases, pools, not miners decide which transactions get added to the blockchain.

You had most of the Bitcoin community cheering price over payment share; we welcomed ETFs as victory. Paper share rose, self-custody fell.

The entire community also cheered Square's surveilled "Bitcoin payments" where every payment generates identity-linked transaction data: buyer, location, device, and amount.

All transactions flow through Square/Cash App's KYC/AML perimeter, meaning both sides of the payment are verified.

That data fuels risk scoring, fraud models, blacklist propagation, and targeted marketing.

Exactly this surveillance value is Square's enduring moat, not the 1% fee.

We just got too complacent.

I'd say the 5 main mistakes we Bitcoiners made are:

1. Letting arbitrary data compete with money on the base layer (witness discount abetted it). For Medium-of-Exchange you need predictable fees; underpriced junk data is a Denial-of-Service subsidy.

2. Treating privacy as an "expert mode". That guarantees surveillance wins by default. Make privacy invisible and automatic.

3. Under-investing in operational safety (backups, recovery, liquidity UX). Normal users pick custodians when scared.

4. Relying on norms over policy. In a low Gross Consent Product world, policy beats culture. If your mempool policies are naïve, adversaries will price you out.

5. Ignoring perimeter levers (app stores, banks, clouds). If you don't plan redundant routes, the other side will plan your failure.

The uncomfortable truth is that Bitcoin's defense can't be "hope users pick hard mode".

Defaults decide outcomes.

If Bitcoin wants to be mass Medium-of-Exchange, privacy, finality, recoverability, and predictability must be invisible and automatic — and the perimeter must be treated as hostile by default.

Until then, paper wrappers will dominate, regulators will "clarify", and L1 will be priced as store-of-value with supervised access, not as everyday cash.

The good news: all of that is fixable — but only if it's designed, not preached.

Before heading to bed yesterday night, I finished dehydrating Amantita Muscaria and stored it in a dark jar. Will probably grind it, so that the active ingredients are distributed better when ingested.

Since there was some crumbs left over from dehydrating, I licked it off the table, and in doing so, I came into even deeper contact with Amanita's energy. I now have the clarity that when I take Amanita, I can communicate energetically with Amanita herself. I can ask her to show me the way and guide me. What a powerful energy!

I slept profound with strong dreams. Instead of having my dog ​​by my side, a horse was my companion... same colours, same love, same bond 💫

I do have a small telegram group (in German)...I'm not so much the recipe person...what I do is mostly very intuitively... It would be great though one day to write a recipe book.

Tea is also delicious and good too :) But never as strong as juice... Water can't extract most of the oils from the roots... So it's good to chew the ginger pieces afterward...

I juiced a lot of fresh ginger and turmeric roots in a slow juicer, filled them into small molds, and froze them. After freezing, I removed them from the molds and stored them in a glass jar in the freezer. I dried the pulp and use it as a spice.

No thickener added, but needs to stay in the freezer...

With any nuts it’s good to alway soak them at least 1 day in water. As they are dehydrated, they will soak up the water and are better for the digestion. 1. Through soaking they rehydrate and don’t absorb the water of the intestine. 2. In case they are dried under 42°C, they are still raw and through hydration they activate and antinutrients thereby are broken down and this makes them better digestible.

I'll solve the mystery of what I did here 😆

I collected acorns, dried them for 8 hours, then peeled them, cut them into small pieces and put them in water. The water should be changed at least twice a day for 5-6 days so that the tannins can be flushed out. When the water stayed clear, I dried them again in the dehydrator. Now they are dry. and you can just snack them like this, but they still have a bit of tannin, which makes them feel a bit bitter and furry in the mouth. Maybe I'll grind it into flour to make cookies or energy balls with apricot kernel flour. Let's see.

Roasted, it can be used as a coffee substitute. But then many valuable vital substances are lost.

Why did I go through this laborious process? I even got blisters from peeling!!!

I just wanted to try it out. After all, there are acorns in abundance on the ground in autumn. And they are said to be super nutritious. Acorns contain fiber, starch, healthy fats, protein, vitamins (e.g. B vitamins) and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and iron.

Yes, I've done water kefir too with dried fruits..., but never with nuts. Not sure if the bacteria would like it, as nuts have fat/oil and tannins...
