Just summed it up, in response to someone’s disappointment over Musk, Twitter, and the fact that nothing really changed: “Nostr or nothing.”
Hope all you good folks are having a great one!
My American Field Labrador Finnegan wishes you a good night!
Nobody ever says anything about it, but there's a shortage of organists. The instrument isn't studied by too many folks anymore.
This is where you've always belonged 😂
Not big on horse racing, but I dig me a mint julip.
Also, Ithink its fair to say that a lot of the conversation around here is self referencing, since the protocol is young and there are a lot of enthusiasts. I expect this to change as it matures.
It's definitely different than Twitter in terms of flow, but I also find this comes with the added bonus of being a thousand percent less ridiculous.
Nostr has a great spirit. Reminds me of earlier times on the Internet, prior to the devolving of the ideals we loosely held in common in those days.
I reckon it's a sign of age, that antacids have become a part of the normal pre-bedtime routine. The cracks of time appear in the 40's, I suppose.
The result of this, by the way, is that I simply don’t use Twitter.
Which is why, you know, you don’t kill the APIs for third parties.
TweetDeck Preview has been busted for weeks, with the inability to clear tweets from individual lists. Since they killed off the API for apps like Tweetbot, Deck is the only game in town and the only sane way to access the platform.
Weeks. I share this here, because I’ve noticed how dedicated people working on Nostr are. Things get done fast, usually same day. And I appreciate it.
In the end, Nostr is simply the superior platform.
Was having problems last night with wallets, so ended up zapping to transfer. My wallets don’t always play nice, apparently.
Sounds awesome.
Trivia. Likely to be first going in to the final and tied for last at the end. Changing our name to the Buffalo Bills.
Hoo boy are these White Sox bad. I’m primarily a Cubs fan, and this is awful even by my standards.
Interesting. Typically, the scammer impersonates the priest via fake email with a request for gift cards, sending to parishioners. For the first time, I saw the opposite: a “parishioner” reaching out to the priest with a gift card need.
Energy drinks after 12pm are a bad idea. Goodnight, I hope.
Hope you’re having a great weekend. Outside of the funeral for a great woman, so far so good on this end.
