Not sure if this is an obvious thing to state, but depending on the client one uses. To add a Note ID into a Post being created, the process differs..
Damus client: you need to insert an '@' symbol and concatenate the Note ID .
Iris.to client: no need for the '@' symbol, just paste your Note ID and you are good to go.
No question is stupid… what happens when you are connected to a NIP-57 compatible wallet, is that when you receive sats for a individual post, the sats amount appears beside to the right of the zap icon.

You need to have loaded from TestFlight ie beta version, for you to see the zap icon, this is also assuming that you have a lightning address set up beforehand.
