I think Fiat Standard implies this. If I recall correctly, he points out that bitcoin can’t scale to normal daily transactions and that it’ll be banks, companies, and countries that do on-chain stuff (due to fees being too high for normal use) and layer two stuff will be for daily transactions.

Isn’t that just common sense, though, based on throughput limitations as of now?

I’m reading a book on #Unschooling. I started the book very skeptical but am slowly thinking it might be worth trying. My only complaint so far is the name is misleading - might be better if the movement was called “how to get your kid to learn without fighting you”

Went on road trip and decided AirBnB is better than hotels (at least with a few kids). I love a house where kids can be noisy and I don’t have to worry about a noise complaint phone call. :)

Basically. I use Apple Watch with LTE and leave phone in basement on charger. I ditched iPads and really only use Watch and laptop. Just wish there was a GrapheneOS-based smart watch.

Check out Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport - it helped me out. Also, an Apple Watch with LTE is one option as a tiny screen means you can only do basic things.

I wonder if someone could make a plug-in for Twitter that would auto post to #Nostr? If the user is ever deplatformed they'd still have all of their content. Could be "sold" as a back-up solution to users that aren't as interested in Nostr, yet.
