I don't think the majority usually makes the right choice. The majority are normally psychopaths leading the blind, mindless followers.

Me, too.

If we get away from the crowds and get as independent as possible (preferably as a group not just an individual or household) it gives us more time and more ability to see what happens. The tyranny almost always starts with the big cities and the crowds because those in power can gain control of more people with less effort.

That looks like a great, peaceful place to sit and read God's word.

I think we frequently don't ask enough of God for 2 reasons. We don't have a high enough view of God. We don't realize how powerfully awesome He is, so we don't ask the big things because we don't have faith that he can accomplish them. We also don't trust his love and feel like we are interrupting him or causing him too much inconvenience. If we only realized how much He loves us, we would know that there is nothing He wants more than for us to ask for his help and if we only realized how powerful He is (able to speak time, space, matter, energy, and the whole universe into existence) and that He is not limited by time, then we would not doubt that he "can" or "has time to" do what we ask.

The only thing I would add is to ask for help with situations rather than ask for the solution because God's solutions are better than what we can imagine. It is also good to say and mean what Christ said right before the cross "not my will, but thine be done"

I can't remember where I read it, but I recently saw a poll that showed around a third of Democrats would vote for RFK, Jr if he ran independent. Since I can't remember where I read it, I can't make a good judgement on the quality of the poll, but I remember thinking it sounded valid.

Also, just because someone says they will vote a certain way in a poll doesn't mean that is how they ultimately will vote.

It is hard to know when things have gotten so bad that this is the only way left. Nobody (or very few) want to get violent if there is another option and it is hard to tell the moment this becomes the only option. Acting too soon is counter productive. Being the only one defending oneself also rarely turns out well, but, at the same time, most won't have the courage to try until someone else does.

Although I believe both Trump and RFK,Jr both want to do what is best for the country, I don't know that their methods and personalities would work well together. Trump acts on impulse and on his gut feeling. Probably around 2/3 of the time that leads Trump to the right decision and the other 1/3 is a disaster. He also refuses to ever admit he made a mistake, no matter how obvious it is, which makes me not want him as President.

RFK, Jr is a researcher. He researches things to the nth degree before making a decision. He has come to the right decision on probably everything he has researched, but doing this thorough of research takes time, so he can't research everything, therefore there are areas that he goes with his family history because he hasn't researched them. This can lead him in the wrong conclusion on those issues.

If the 2 could work together and if Trump could admit he can be wrong and can learn from others, they could complement each other nicely, but I don't think RFK would deal well with Trump's bombastic attitude and his split second gut reactions and I don't think Trump would have patience for RFK's slow, methodical way of looking at things or being corrected with facts when he is wrong.

I don't know why people won't trust individuals to make the best decisions for themselves, but trust government officials to make the best decision for people they don't even know.

Stay away from aspartame. Not only does it have some negative health effects in you, this study (in mice) suggests it can cause cognitive issues in your offspring. The amazing thing is this study was done in males. Somehow the negative effects are passed down to the next generation.

FYI, most people use aspartame to lose weight, but in Europe they give aspartame to livestock because it makes them eat more and gain weight, so even though it has zero calories, it is probably making you more likely to overeat and gain weight.

We already have a situation where the majority of people, who go to college, would be better off not going to college because many quit before getting a degree and many get degrees that don't have much benefit for the person (and definitely don't have enough benefit to justify the cost). These people end up with massive student debt, that frequently hangs over their head till death.

Admitting students who are not good fits for college makes them more likely to be in this harmed category. Honestly, some of these people, who are admitted to college and then drop out because they can't succeed, should sue the colleges for admitting them and entrapping them in debt. That would teach the colleges to only admit those likely to succeed. (This is true no matter the race or other category)

The university virtue signally is harming the very people they claim to be helping.

From Robert Malone email (with my comments following):

"This week, Biden’s dog bit another secret service agent. We all remember that “Major” bit people before. So, again -in the White House? Well, actually no. Biden gave that dog away in 2021.

This is a NEW dog - a dog named “Commander” - that was born in 2021. This is the Eleventh biting incident that we KNOW of from this young dog. In the four month period from October 2022 to January 2023, there were TEN biting “incidents” - sending one person to the hospital. They went to the hospital, AFTER medical treatment was performed at the White House. We only know this because Judicial Watch did a FOIA for that time period to discover if bites had occurred. These bites were from a one year old dog.

It is probably safe to assume that if there were TEN incidents in that four month period, there are other bites that we don’t know about.

THIS IS THE BIDEN’S SECOND DOG THAT WE KNOW OF THAT HAS TURNED EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE.

This is not normal.

Dogs that bite without warning is usually because fear aggression.

Unlike most other types of dog aggression, fear aggression in dogs has no warning signs. Because they will react only when they think that there is no other option but to defend themselves, these dogs won’t growl, bare their teeth, or snarl before they nip at their source of fear. In most cases, this behavior is caused by a trauma in the dog’s past.

Fear aggression is often caused by abuse (for instance, a dog getting physically punished or mistreated).

The fact that this is at least the SECOND dog that has developed aggression is not a good look for the Biden family.

No one should have to work in an environment where there is a large, aggressive dog that is biting lots of people so hard that it is sending people to the hospital.

In a normal situation (err.. that means you or I or anyone else), a police report would have been filed about an aggressive dog that drew blood long ago -particularly if someone ended up in the hospital. There would have been a hearing or a court case. A county official or judge would order such a dog euthanized as soon as a history of multiple bites was documented.

Heck, such a story would have made the local newspapers. Ten dog bites in a four month period!

What is wrong with these people? Responsible pet owners do not allow their dogs to bite at least eleven people! Seriously - I hope a presidential nominee takes this up as campaign issue."

The fact that Biden continually owns dogs that continually attack others suggests there is something truly wrong with Biden.

"Too dumb to care" seems to describe the majority of the public the majority of the time.

They are both corrupt, both liars, and both anti-democratic. (FYI, you could put Russia & NATO in another kettle or pot. There are no good guys in this war)

They have to lie about inflation. There are so many entitlements tied to the inflation rate that the money, they are spending on entitlements, would infringe on the money spent on themselves and used to buy votes and campaign donations.

Most people today think of children only as a cost. Yes, they cost money to provide for when they are young. Yes, they cost time as you raise them. What they don't understand is the joy the children bring. The joy of seeing your kids grow up and succeed and even become your friend. They also ignore the fact that when you get old, having a younger person, who loves you, to either take care of you or make sure you are well taken care of is huge. There are so many old people who either didn't have kids, or didn't prioritize kids that are now in a nursing home with no one to make sure they are taken care of. They are treated as a number or an object with no respect. I'm guessing many regret their decisions regarding children. (I'm seeing this a lot as I saw my parents taking care of their parents and now my husband and I are having to do some things for his dad and my parents.

Well said.

As much as I like finding like minded individuals, it is also fund to find an intelligent, polite sparring partner. Sometimes they can change my mind. Other times it helps me to reinforce what I believe because I have to logically and factually defend it. I definitely think it can be more productive to have a "sparring partner" even if it is more comfortable to be with those who think alike.
