I fully agree. I encouraged my younger brother (21) to not waste his time with university, based on his interests.
He started working at around age 17, as I had a few mates back home who could help him find the kind of work he enjoys.
My younger sister (18) wants to become a doctor and is studying hard to go study medicine for free.
I graduated from uni, with a first class degree, but it was really pointless. Most of the benefits I got was due to the fact that I moved to another country to study and had more opportunities because of that, not because of uni.
Like you said. Unless you want to study a handful of things, there's really no need for university. Doing a course, an apprenticeship or going to trade school is much better.
I wish my grandmother was still alive so we could go mushroom picking in the forest.
One of my favourite activities from childhood.
I wasn't a massive fan of eating mushrooms, but I loved the activity of searching for them.
Yeah. Usually, I drink water with fresh lemon juice, honey, and pink Himalayan salt, during my workout.
Really helps with staying hydrated, given that I'm already sweating a lot, before the class even starts, because I go in 15-20 early to punch & kick the heavy bag.
Let me know how it works for you 😃
This "hack" really saved me a lot of hassle and time, in the mornings.
I remember, years ago, I was very into #science, specifically #physics and quantum physics.
I got so into it that I began watching lectures from MIT on quantum mechanics.
When the professor would ask the class a question, and I would know the answer, but noticed how many in the class didn't or got it wrong, I was like "huh. Look at these guys, making it into such a prestigious university, and I know more than them 😂".
The reality is, I was nowhere near their level, when it comes to math alone, forget everything else 😄
What I really enjoyed about physics was the theory and trying to make sense of it, especially quantum mechanics.
Still blows my mind, to this day, even though I rarely consume such content anymore.
I found the easiest and most convenient way to make my bacon & eggs breakfast.
It literally takes just 12-15 minutes.
Step 1: turn on the oven and put it on max (won't need to wait for it to reach max temperature)
Step 2: on the stove, put a well-seasoned cast iron pan and turn on the heat on medium.
Step 3: add your bacon to the cast iron pan (I fit 8 streaky bacon rashers, which is half a pack)
This should take about 1-2 minutes
Step 4: as soon as you finished placing the bacon in the pan, take it off the stove, put it in the oven, and turn on the boiler option.
Depending on the type and thickness of the bacon you're using, the cook time will vary. For me, I leave it for 3 minutes, then I take it out, flip the bacon, and put them back in for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: remove the bacon from the pan
Step 6: with the pan empty and hot, crack in your eggs (I use 4, for 8 rashers of bacon), and put the pan back in the oven with the broiler option still on, for 2-3 minutes, depending on how you like your eggs (I like my yolk slightly hard and not too runny).
Step 7: remove the eggs from the pan and voilà!
❌ No need to add fat or oil or butter.
❌ No sticking.
❌ No smoke.
❌ No skill.
✅ Perfectly cooked bacon & eggs
✅ Delicious bacon-flavoured eggs
✅ Easy, convenient and quick
In the photo attached, I had the eggs & bacon with 2 #beef patties topped with cedar cheese.

I told my #muaythai coach that I took pre-workout, before going in to train.
He said he doesn't believe they work, and neither did I, until I tried a free sachet that Bulk sent me with one of my orders, months ago.
Went #hiking on Snowdonia with a couple of friends, and it was the hardest #hike I've ever done, because of the awful weather.
Very strong winds blowing in your face, paired with heavy rain. It was brutal.
I decided to finally give the pre-workout a try and added it to my water.
Although I didn't drink it 1 hour before the hike, as you normally do before you #train, I was drinking from it, every time I felt tired.
Initially, I barely drank any, because I wasn't thirsty at all, with all the rain water on my face that I would occasionally "drink" 😄
Multiple times, after the first half of the hike, I got to the point where I thought I can't do it any longer.
However, every time I felt like that and drank the pre-workout, I felt almost instantly recharged and ready to go.
I'm sure it wasn't a case of placebo, because I didn't expect that to happen at all.
Every since that experience, I became a believer in pre-workout and use it, when I know I want to #workout hard.

Honestly, I don't want #nostr to feel like #Bitcoin Twitter.
Ever since I followed the bitcoin hashtag on here, my experience got worse, because it feels like it's the same constant posts that you see in Twitter.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Bitcoiner, but I have other interests too.
So, my advice to you, if you want to improve your experience on here, is to follow hashtags of things that interest you.
For me, some of them are:
# nature
#foodstr
#chickens
#garden
#homesteading
#muaythai
I really want this to be a place where I can see a lot of the things I'm interested in, not just Bitcoin posts.
Happy to report that my Muay Thai training session after my knee injury has gone very well 🫡
I was a bit anxious, but I knew that I can keep myself safe and my coach was very understanding, as expected.
Consider adding your YouTube channel link to your profile, mate. Makes it easier for people to find it.
Yeah, nah, fuck that. The bankers can go fuck themselves
My knee injury hasn't fully healed, but I'm gonna go train, this evening.
I'd say that I've recovered 85-90% and it's time to slowly get back at it.
Can't wait to see my coaches and gym mates, as well as kick & punch the bag.
Hopefully, my knee won't give up on me or get a setback.
Beginning to save in #Bitcoin will not only help you recover the purchasing power that you've lost throughout the years, due to monetary debasement, but it will also help you protect and grow your future purchasing power.
It's just that simple. You don't need to overcomplicate it with anything else.
And, as I like to say, #Bitcoin daily DCA keeps poverty away.
