Completely embarrassing.
Quebec is full of commies
Honestly, I'm a bit petty. The fact that our best goalie wasn't taken on the Canadian team and our second best one was sitting on the bench for this game, made me not cheer for Canada.
Logan Thompson. He pissed off a couple of the coaches, so they didn't take him.
Meanwhile, our number 2 guy is sitting on the bench watching right now.
We've got two guys in the NHL right now. Working on number 3. He's about 4 years away from his debut.
You guys have the luxury of having the best goalie in your country playing. Our number 1 guy is on vacation in Jamaica 😂
I started playing hockey in 96 and both my favorite goalies played for the Cup in 1996. Vanbiesbrouck v Roy.
That's why I wore number 96.
The Avalanche was my 90s team. Patrick Roy was my guy.
From that era, my favorite Red Wings were Sergei Fedorov & Nicklas Lidstrom.
Yeah, the classics everyone loves are typically simple in design.
Proof of Stake is gay
Excluding Russia is brutal.
I like how they asked the crowd in french, before the anthems, to leave the world events at home and to unite under hockey. Yet, they didn't let Russia play...
100% agree.
It seems that's what they'll be doing moving forward. From what I understand, they'll move it to a 8-team format and will host it every two years.
Sportsnet with Ozempic as an official advertisement in-between periods 😂
The NHL pushing for views, that's why there's lots of showbiz going on with the presentation. I don't mind it. It's about time the league picks it up.
The Canadian fans were classless all tournament long towards the US team.
The emotions from the players aren't faked. They're feeling the energy in the building.
The Prestige was fun. It was the only movie I watched twice and had a different experience both times.
It's good to finally see real hockey between the North Americans, instead of the soft Europeans.
I just discovered Northern Perspective a week ago, because of this very thing.
Canada is asleep at the wheels. It's sad to see and experience.
