IotaWatt is an example. Formerly American made product. Component costs became unpredictable because of constantly changing tariffs. Suppliers were no longer able to tell them a cost at time of order because they did not know what their tariff would be on ship date. It made more economic sense for them to offshore to get predictable supply costs with a single tariff between them and only American customers causing pricing issues.

Also note that Keychat.io and 0xchat.com are additional Nostr clients running MLS implementation, and a little more battle-tested than White Noise. Keychat.io has its own spec and takes its own approach vis a vis some of the points mentioned, and as of now is more robust compared to White Noise (at least in my testing).
