Good morning nostr, and happy friday. Today i need to check the bnb cabin to be sure its ready for tomorrow's guests. And after the morning chores i think we might go for a nice drive in the country, just 'cause. There'a a nice little coffee shop that we like in a little town nearby, so maybe we'll stop there.
Later, i need to sit down and do some organizing on my desk, which somehow keeps getting piled up with stuff. Anyway, yall have a great friday, enjoy your coffee, and remember that today is a gift. #coffeechain #homesteading #grownostr
The sunset. #nature #grownostr

Very distinctive looking flower.
Strawberry tree? I need to look that up.
Hi nostr, i'm hearing some rain falling on the roof, a welcome sound for us these days. But i dont think it'll be much rain, unfortunately. Today i gathered up a bunch of clothes and other items that we'll be donating to the resale shop. Sometimes i just get the urge to get rid of stuff. But the day is almost over, and i'm enjoying some of my cucumber-mint tea, nice and cold. Yall have a good evening nostr friends. #grownostr #homesteading
I had forgotten how refreshing and delicious cucumber-mint water is. Last night i sliced some organic cucumbers into a pitcher, then added some fresh mint from my garden. Filled up the pitcher with water, then let it sit in the fridge overnight. Today it is pretty warm and muggy outside, and i just had a glass of my cucumber-mint water, so refreshing! #cucumber-mintwater #homesteading
We have rabbits too, just now getting back on track after the bobcat ravage.
Lunch time! Today its cheeseburgers with a runny egg on top, one of my favorite meals. Sides of avocado and onions. #homesteading #foodstr
Having chickens is one of the best decisions i have ever made. We eat lots of eggs, and we havent had to buy eggs for a long time. Chickens are a great source of food security, and also entertainment. Plus you get some manure for the compost pile. #grownostr #chickens #homesteading GetSomeChickens

We wont mind the needles, our main thought was that they require more water than other trees in our area. Might be an issue where we live, but maybe they will be ok near the pond.
