Free advice: Take your kids fishing! We walked for 20 minutes to fish for 20 minutes. It really is like that country song, she talked more to me on the walk than she has in months. We laughed, we learned and we caught fish. It was the best Friday.

Been a long time since i messed with autocad, but just today was complaining about the lack of skill being taught to designers. I told a buddy “My sophmore self would have wiped the floor with these jokers!” What field do you work in?

I use NX for some model prep work now for CMM’s, and I used to use it for all types of CNC work.

Game night for the wife’s birthday with a new card game. We have really been enjoying this one. What fun games do yall like? We have closets full of games.

Today my wife suggested something she never has before. We sat as a family and read. I was reading and she wanted to relax and read too, so she called the kids in and made them put their phones away and read for 45 minutes. It truly was a beautiful thing. There was very little complaining and when the time was up we all went about our days. I hope we do this more often.

Trellising: I have used a 16’ cattle panel arched over and planted on either side of the arch. That worked really well. I also have tried a net and put it up with fence posts. They grew fine there as well. Cucumbers are vining plants. You don’t have to know much, they do most of the work themselves.

What does this mean? I think I understand that nests are like the twitter spaces. So this is a place where people can get together and have an audio conversation? And do you have a different identity for the nest thing? Can’t you link with your keys?

I thought I would try to understand privacy, but all I have figured out is that I am not sure how deep this rabbit hole goes! But very thankful for his guidance by bringing great topics and guests together to teach others.

We went with my grandfather-in-law to lay his sister to rest in the small town that he grew up in 80+ years ago. He said he went up and down these stairs at least twice a day during school time. It was a really neat school building.

He also took us to his childhood home, a 300+ acre farm. It was the last house down a 2-3 mile, one lane gravel road named after his mothers family. He told us about each home and which family members lived there when he was growing up. It was a very sad experience, yet one I wouldnt give up for the world.
