Today restoring an old house, bare bones, no floor just joists, a contractor slipped off the joist and fell 4-5ft landing straight on his back. He was very lucky he didn’t hit his head on the way down, so many wood beams, bricks at the bottom, nails sticking out, he didn’t get a scratch. Sore shoulder and ego, but he could have easily died…
It made me think of people that are in serious accidents don’t remember what happened. That made me think that any one of us could have already died and we didn’t even know. Since the universe and time are likely eternal, that’s a lot of time for your conscious energy to figure out a story or life that makes it comfortable, that is familiar, maybe the life you are living now? How many times have we died?
I’m not confident Trump will fix the economy, likely make it worse, but I am confident he will do everything in his power to keep the markets from crashing, including spending, pressure to print, lower interest rates, pause tariffs, etc.
