GM, I dreamed last night. It's the first dreams i have been able to recall in a very long time.

This next week will be a test. This is day 11, ~50 more to go to solidify the new habit.

1000 sats to anyone catching me with THC just ask me

It’s wild when you stop marijuana how your dreams return!

I was told you still dream, you just don’t remember them. I see it as a first step in clearing the mental fog.

Starting the same journey

What you eat before bed also affects your dreaming.

Also, what you think about right before bed affects your dreaming.

Indeed, but i haven’t remembered a dream in 15 years. I look forward to more

I need to stop smoking for a while, but yes, and there is a way to learn kinda how to control yourself in your dream. A good movie to watch is Inception.

The mental construct that i cannot tell if anything is real around me including my physical self aim me in directions i never thought possible.

Inception is a deep movie.

GM☕️🌞

GM Dan. Why do you think you were able to recall it? Would love to remember a dream again. Haven’t been able to recall in a very long time as well. Would like to though.

I blame the Mary Jane. For you, it might be a general lack of sleep as I assume you're just “coming out of the trenches” of new parenthood

What’s the new habit you’re aiming for?

No more weed. I know it affects my memory, I can only imagine what it does physically.

(If I consume at the farm its easier to not eat, but if i am home i eat like a horse loose in the grain bin)

The munchies are for real. I have chronic nerve damages pain, the weed is known to help this. Unfortunately I am in a role, and state, that does not permit my use even THC. My weed is acupuncture and it’s been life saving.

I used to immediately crew gum it seemed to help me from putting food in my face. My hope is that I will drastically lower my sugar intake as a side effect.

I am glad its legal in Canada, I just need to break such a daily habbit. I already barely drink since a low point about 2 yrs ago.

I am glad you have found a solution for your problems, I was only using it “recreational” to numb the pain of the fiat life.

I hear you.

Fair take!

G'morning! Great job, Dan. I hope it was a pleasant dream.

Crazy ass dreams, first I was trying to navigate through a house party with underage drinkers. Next I was stealing cars with the “gone in 60 seconds” crew

You got this brother! I’m doing the same

GM Dan! Thanks for sharing your journey - We trust you'll do great ✨ Love a good dream as well, although sometimes they can be so active they are tiring!

The dreams come back in full force, lucid, vivid, and every night. Get ready!

Thanks ₿ob

Last night I dreamed I was in this very unique, high end restaurant. It had no walls or seatbacks, everything was rounded. I was speaking to the waitress and remember my words exactly, ‘this place is like, modern, surreal’. We then had to run out because someone was driving in with a bomb vehicle and the whole place exploded. I was glad I was alone and not with the family…

Hi dan 🏴‍☠️🤟😉 Respect! The dream recall is like a little bonus perk from your grind. Day 11 let’s go! Eyes on those 50, no THC in sight. We’re watching!

Thanks for the support ₿oniz

Try mugwort tea or they make supplements. It helps promote dream recall and lucid dreaming.

if you want to remember dreams, and have somewhat crappy sleep, just eat high protein food within 3 hours of bedtime

for the most intense results, pork, veal, chicken, milk is kinda milder, but will make you remember dreams and not sleep so good

if you wanna go hard core and remember every dream and need to sleep the rest of the next day, just take some phenylalanine or tyrosine amino acid, those are the magic sauces that screw up your sleepy time arousal levels and cause dream recall

remembering dreams is overrated, Chuang Tzu was right

and probably the only way to guarantee it is OMAD giant beef stek in the morning with a side of eggs and a big tall glass of raw milk

I grow my own mugwort, I will have to try it. For myself, I believe there was a different herb giving less than stellar memory retention.

I am on a very similar journey in regards to the other herb 🌲💨😅

Cheers to mastering compulsive behaviors!

i recently trounced the agitating sour roasted bean... and its damage to my digestion was pretty bad, feeling much better

i say, if it comes down to bean vs flower kick the bean first

I've also given up coffee and caffeine in general. (And alcohol, and sweets, and started fasting about 20 hours a day). There have been some slip ups but in general I'm getting back to my un-chemically enhanced form! I find since doing all this work my sleep is better and I am getting sick a lot less. Who knew doing good healthy things makes you feel good and healthy?! 😂

Yup, I have been lowering my burnt bean juice too, down to a cup a day. I think I am done with the strong drugs in my system for a bit. I think I was 20 the last time I was without.

and ironically, you sleep less without caffeine, i think that is the most remarkable thing

I heard that caffeine simply takes energy from other parts of your day. I used it to survive in the trenches of 0-3yr old kids. I am hoping physical labour will pour me into bed each night

there is no such thing as caffeine deficiency syndrome, you will be fine, also, Godspeed

Weird one but if you eat high quality cheese right before going to sleep you’ll recall all of them

I think you need vavations every now and then. I think it was yhe vacations thst made you dream.

I dream often now since i stoped smoking...

Upping natural fat intake can definitely power up the dream part of the brain. Being in ketosis also helps with that. We dream every time we sleep, but our brain doesn't hold onto them and we don't remember. But keto dreams are vivid and wild (and sometimes disturbing). I don't much care for them.

I would like to hit a natural stride where I bulk up via farm work and hone my physical self. Dreams have never been an issue for me.

Cool, but I wasn't talking about fitness, at all.
