I’m interested in why some see conspiracy in everything and some see conspiracy in nothing. I always urge to start with the rational explanation. Sometimes the rational explanation is that there was a conspiracy. Unfortunately “conspiracy theories” has become a phrase used to discredit any idea which goes against the mainstream narrative. It’s the people at the extremes that really fascinate me because in a way there’s an absolute refusal to question. One refuses to question the story they’ve been told. The other refuses to question themselves, their own knowledge base, and their bias. It is the refusal to question I find dangerous.

I’m going to experiment with not saying goodnight on Nostr for the next several days out of superstition it’s what is preventing me from falling asleep in a timely manner. I swear I say goodnight and then its 3 hours later and I’m still awake.
