Yes, had a kindle for ages. The battery is making it basically unuseable now. Greta whilst it lasted. Free books with LibGen as stated, soulseek too. I had the very basic one, not backlit or anything.

You originally don't have to worry about charging. Not sure if I'd personally buy a 2nd hand one for the battery reason tho.

Do any of you guys own a Kindle or similar product that you would recommend? #asknostr

Serious question from someone who's not that smart, and while I love the Bitcoin ethos I have a hard time understanding why there's not more inherent privacy with BTC that's by default and just easy to use.

Can someone help me out with this. I'm pretty ignorant on the difficulties of coding etc. It does seem though there would be more default code enhancing the privacy and anonymity of users while still allowing for the ledger. I would think this would be by default that didn't require as much to go through in order to improve your privacy. I would also think that this would be a major concern and there would be work to improve this over other issues at this time with the way the world is. I'm not sure though and hoping someone can it explain it to me like I'm 5.

All are on the spiritual side one way or another. This is not an exhaustive list. These are just very impactful authors that are largely unknown to those under 50-60 years of age.

Redfield's best work is his first book, the rest are redundent due purely to the success of his first. The first book is "The Celestine Prophecy" and the concept of human energy dynamics and "control dramas" is something we all need to learn about. Very much in the school of Carl Jung but in a story line and way that makes it a lot more useful to most people.

Kavanaugh's best are "Two Gentle to Live Among Wolves" and "God Lives"

Bach's best in order are "Illusions", "Jonathan Livingston Seagul" and "One". While Illusions is better than JLS, JLS should likely be read first. You could read both in a couple hours max.

None of these have a thing to do directly with bitcoin because all are far older, but you will understand bitcoin, money and society better for reading them.

Bonus points if you make it though The Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert She & Robert Anton Wilson which is more about how people are controlled by the people they think they are opposing.
