Pittsburgh has terrible weather. But it’s home — and has its perks. Miami is beyond wonderful.
Yes! My other sister who bought me the Beyoncé shirt actually went to the concert with her husband when she came for The Lemonade Tour in Pittsburgh. I lost my chance— she felt my pain!
I love to dress up— but Pittsburgh is definitely not Miami— when it comes to great clubs for people my age— so I have some dresses waiting for a dance 🤣
My friends on Facebook rarely share political stuff anymore— after the anger & chaos of the last US election— most of my friends (my US Republican & Democrat friends) — seem more willing to share family photos vs current events. It’s soothing. I prefer to get my news from other sources — especially after watching the Cambridge Analytics (The Great Hack) Documentary. What’s annoying about Facebook now is the algorithm puts things not asked for— in my feed — and even if I click “show less” — it finds a way to show me the same thing!!! Very annoying & deceiving. Anyway— thank you for the conversation.
Yes— we have to protect ourselves 🙏 Sometimes, if I remove/ or distance myself from someone for awhile or mute someone in an online space— I view this as a gift to both of us. I can become overwhelmed with “sensory input” & sometimes I need to focus in a different way. Mute is how I survived Twitter. Sometimes I muted people I liked & checked in on them at times when the energy was good. My sister & I talk a lot about boundaries for real world stuff!
I also think about this— when one considers priorities. Who is a priority? Am I priority & did I make time for others? I’ve been accused of making excuses for people. I like to “leave room for grace” in certain situations.
Love this 💛 Also— and this might be too deep for a Wednesday— but I love contemplating “free will” vs “fate” — and I try to pay attention to patterns & our reactions when faced with unknowns.
I never watched more than an episode or two of Seinfeld— so I will take your word for it. I rarely watch TV. I’m more of a movie person.
Do you think it’s true that people protect & make space for what they decide is worthy?

I bought extra dresses ☺️ when my family went to Miami in 2022– so I will be good either way!
That is usually true for us too— but this was a rare birthday & I felt blessed. My sister gets all the attention this weekend — she turns 40.
Thank you! My family is so sweet— they found time to celebrate with me a little last night even though — back to school homework has set in & softball/baseball/cheer practice has started! That’s what happens when your bday is on a Tuesday. I’m grateful.
