Man-made “law” is an evil concept. It elevates man to the level of godhood.

Today is the time to determine that you will *always* act justly and *always* do what is *right*. If you make that decision now, you’ll be ready to break “the law” (so-called) whenever the time comes.

Something I’ve been contemplating.

My grandmother was named Hope. She passed away last year. Since then, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the word Hope.

When you’re in your deepest darkest days, are when you have no hope. Hope is that beacon of light that pulls you through the hardships of life. Hope is what keeps your engine running when you’re out of metaphorical gas. Hope is an intrinsic force of good that allows you to proceed.

People often say “bitcoin is hope”. When people opt into bitcoin, they slowly begin to realize that maybe they CAN save for a brighter tomorrow. Maybe they CAN escape this rat race. Maybe they CAN empower themselves financially. A world of possibilities opens up.

Because hope is arguably one of the most powerful forces we have. Without it, there is no brighter tomorrow. But as long as you hold out hope, there is the prospect of a better day.

Hope. As long as we have hope, we will be okay.

A decade ago, I was confronted with a series of tragic events that left me feeling shattered and lost. In the midst of this darkness, I realized that my state of mind was being consumed by these challenges. I knew that if I continued down this path, I would be defeated by the tragedy. It was at that moment that I made a conscious decision to change my perspective. I resolved to cultivate a habit of seeking the light in the darkness, to find the beauty in the midst of suffering, and to choose happiness in the face of adversity.

As I began to implement this shift in perspective, I discovered that it was all too easy to allow negative thoughts to dominate my mind. But I also realized that I had the power to respond to these thoughts in a different way. I learned that we are always in control of how we respond to the challenges that life throws our way. By choosing to see the good in all people, experiences, challenges, and events, we can find a path to complete restoration.

In the end, I discovered that the greatest challenge we face in life is not the adversity itself, but rather our response to it. When we choose to see the wisdom, the lesson, and the beauty in difficult situations, we transcend our suffering and find a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in life.

We are born in the shadow of death (the 'umbra mortis').

An 'umbra' or shadow is created when something is interposed between us and a source of light. (An 'umbrella' is a small shadow.)

The light is eclipsed (which means 'to fail'), leaving us not only in darkness, but in the image-shadow of the thing eclipsing the light--we are under its power, authority, and dominion.

We are born under the dominuon of this 'umbra mortis,' because of our first father's failure--a failure that eclipsed us from the Father of lights.

But praise be to God, that he sent a redeemer and rescuer.

Christ Jesus, the last Adam, did not fail--and, having removed that primal failure which eclipsed us from light, he has "delivered us from the kingdom (dominion, authority, order) of darkness and transferred us into his kingdom in light."
