Introduction of MEV is a *huge* issue.

As we’ve seen with ETH both pre- and post-PoS MEV creates intense centralization pressure that would all but defeat the purpose of bitcoin. Luckily there’s no excuse for introducing MEV - any system you design which does introduce it can ~always be designed to avoid the introduction of MEV. While people play around with systems built on top of Bitcoin it’s important to suggest MEV-avoiding alternatives and discourage use of MEV-introducing systems.

Someone should do a relay that is very-high signal. It can issue shares of revenue of that relay and then charge for each note submitted to it.

Shareholders take a cut of the revenue, but are bound to vote on whether a note is worth being published or not. If they vote no when most people voted yes or vice-versa they lose a small fraction of their shares, the shares go to those who voted with the majority.

the penalty for not voting with the majority sounds like it would pervert outcomes, but the rest sounds amazing.

I think I may need to give up on Matrix. Reading their tickets there's unsolved problems with 2+ client synchronization that they seem to have given up on. While I know how to workaround multi-client encryption quirks there's no sadly no way this usable for the average normie.
