90% of the time, profitability in RE is biased by the way you measure it... if measured in gold, or Bitcoin, it loses value more often than not.
If you buy a house to live, that's a great investment. Whatever property you add to that, IMHO, it's not. Taxes, maintenance, tenants, risk of expropriation, etc...
Few understand the dynamic of that. When people realize that #bitcoin is a far superior store of value, real estate valie will come down to it's utility value!
